1/5 starsRevised 28 June 2011 fight Fury is a master class on how to make a terrible beat-'-em-up. By Alex Navarro

Fighting Fury is a terrible beat-'em above. It is almost unfathomable that a terrible beat - up can exist even in 2011. The beat - up is one of the genres of video games most populated, replete with example after example of how to do an exceptionally fun game sobre walking and bad punching in blinking presentation. For examples, see: Double Dragon, Final Fight, Bad Dudes, Streets of Rage, Final Fight, River City Ransom, Golden Axe, Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles II, Final Fight, X-Men: The Arcade Game, the Simpsons, Final Fight, Castle Crashers, The Warriors, Final Fight, etc., etc.

Stereotypes!

Fighting Fury not shows reverence to these classics of the genre; even just seems aware of them. Imagine a game that makes each error rookie beat-'-em-up can be done - enemies of stupidity of combat, terrible, uninteresting characters, lanky cooperative play, miserable music - and let imagine it. Fighting Fury is all that and some other nonsense that even normally not think.

Perhaps the developers punchers impact were so enamored with his concept of extravagant wrestlers to beat other extravagant wrestlers that nobody stopped to think about why they were doing anything about this. The great attraction of colors dumb men and women in ridiculous wrestling masks running and punching each other was more than enough to establish this whole movement. Shame was not enough to actually creating a game enjoyable even remotely.

Fighting Fury thumping from the get-go, with a similar opening nonsense that gives way to a combat system that immediately informs him that he has made a terrible purchase. Controls are slow, did not respond and remain trapped by sometimes failed animations that he quite did not affect his brand. It is not a problem, since enemies be morons. The dumbasses default literally stand still and flail their arms on him. It is his attack on predetermined goal. After that, Yes, things become a little more difficult, but is usually fairly easy to clear wide swathes of bad wandering up and blows to the X button.

There is no updatable system combined in the game, but its purpose is difficult to achieve. With the exception of some enemies that are better sent over a grapple attack or two, there are some reasons to never worry about any of the extra movements. More often it will be too busy taking their hands off the jiggle attack buttons the right control stick when you're dazed. Yes, not can recover from a strong attack unless you flail the right stick for several seconds. That is precisely the clumsy and unnecessary as it sounds.

Some beat - ups may suffer mechanical problems struggle if they offer enough personality, or, in the memorable fights less head about. Fighting Fury has none of these things. There is a story in some way and is presumption that the characters have personalities, but none charge on these things. Despite colorful appearances and deformed forms designed for maximum extravagant factor, the action screen offers a surprising lack of emotion. Heads from time to time offer a creative design or two, but the fighting range from "again in a couple of seconds," and "long and painstakingly drawn in."

The visuals are sharp, but the action never, ever pops. The images are sharp, but the action never, never appears.

Still not fighting Fury can play with your friends online. Co-op game is limited to connection and recovery-in/drop out set simply does not exist. If the type to force friends to suffer through terrible games with you, will have to do it in the same space, and may not leave the game. Unless they raise only and leave, I guess.

It is a shame because punchers impact made at least one game that seems pretty good. The graphics are strong, bright and full of landscapes in an ingenious manner. Even so, graphic Buenos abysmal game are little more than a terrible loss. It's like the painting of a band of racing on a rusty on Corvair killer... which is on fire.

Perhaps some kind of comment post-modern nostalgia, old players of video games, have indeed simplistic and sometimes too much revered gender beat-' fighting fury-em-up, is an effective tool. I know it certainly did ask me if it had see these games simply through glasses rabid all these years and that in truth, all beat - ups are actually this terrible. Then I went and he once again played the Final Fight and he was reassured that no, old beat - ups are fine. It is simply fury of struggle which is miserable rubbish.
