Some developers take inspiration from classic franchise this title for their new titles and others and try to bring them up to date. Others, however, take their original inspiration and not follow the source material. Centipede: attack is in the latter camp: take the inspiration and just do your own thing.

The game played like the original centipedevery little; instead of going back in the vertical based battle of wills, come to try the insects from all over the screen, an unfortunate exterminator overrun. While the fight unlock certain special enemies shoot power-ups such as flamethrowers and faster and more powerful weapons to help wipe out the army of the guys. It's more like a run and gun Robotron 2084 title now, the only what seems a boss, which essentially is the original centipede bind back to the original concept.

The centipede comes back in the holiday season of this year. It is aggravated the game still in the early stages, so hopefully, and one can some of my favorite Arcade title true justice. I just hope that it not Shovelware at the end.
