Pryor says he is not interested in the CFL Roughriders

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Terrelle Pryor is not interested in the Canadian Football League play. He is not interested in talking to the NCAA.

The former Ohio State quarterback would Tuesday announced that he season following return senior not for his to an NCAA suspension and ongoing investigation of Ohio State. The Saskatchewan Roughriders have the CFL rights negotiations on Pryor and had extended a provisional offer to him.

James also said that Pryor with NCAA investigators search in Ohio State's football program, ex-players and current players will no longer work.

Wondering whether Pryor gave him a reason for his lack of interest in the Roughriders, said James, "he was not under discussion." He said only that he is not interested in the Canadian Football League. "Obviously was the offer are not sufficient to make his palate."

Roughriders general manager Brendan Taman was just his team practice and a phone message seeking comment did not immediately return.

Pryor has several options in addition to jump immediately to the CFL.

He may be still apply for a special NFL supplemental draft or this summer, he could play in a minor league such as the United Football League or he could work out and take several months to prepare the next spring full NFL draft.

James said the 6-foot-6, 233-pounder's first choice in the supplemental draft to go.

"He definitely supplemental draft to looking," said James and added that Pryor is in the process of setting coach and mediator.

Pryor was one of the five Ohio State player suspended in December last year for the first five games of the season 2011 for accepting improper benefits from a Columbus tattoo salon owner.
