Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have just released an official trailer highlighting the very first Mortal Kombat DLC pack. The DLC will contain all of the retailer exclusive "classic" costumes for Reptile, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Ermac, Mileena, Kitana and Jade. Additionally, the DLC will unlock "classic" fatalities for Reptile, Scorpion and Sub-Zero, which were also part of the retailer exclusivity.

The DLC pack will launch on June 7th on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network for $4.99.

Boy do I feel stupid for buying that Classic Scorpion DLC on Ebay. I paid $18 for it about a week after launch because I was so jealous that others had it and I didn't. What's worse is the fact that I didn't even get to redeem it, still, because the PlayStation Store has been down ever since. So it's not like I got to have it for a month before everyone else. Last time I do anything like that.

At least I held off on springing for the Reptile DLC, which was fetching over $50 on Ebay the last time I checked. I just checked again for the sake of this article, and saw these poor schmucks bid up to $70 for a tiny portion of DLC that is going to be released for an Abraham Lincoln.

I didn't have to because I pre-ordered my Kollector's edition with Gamestop. But I was about to buy on E-bay the Classic Sub-Zero skin. Good thing I waited and saw this first.

I still think this should have been included in the game to begin with. $100 + Tax for Kollector's Edition, Plus another $4.99 for this skin. Plus Boon said that Frost, Khan and a few extra character are gonna soon be out in another DLC pack. Only reason I'm gonna pay is because this game kept my attention alot better then MvC3 and SSF4.Posted: May 27th, 2011 at 9:55 amAnthony_SeverinoAnthony_Severino - Joined: Oct 14, 2010Haha yeah, definitely a major fail. It seems like all the ninja got a quick nod to their fatalities except for him. Still, looks neat.Posted: May 27th, 2011 at 2:02 pm

Summer is just about upon us now; finals are bearing down on college students, with the promise of summer break and all of the broken air-conditioners, rushed vacation plans and charred meat that it entails. It also marks the beginning of what I like to call, the “Game Release Doldrums,” so named because it’s the season where the fewest games I am interested in are released. Though it looks like this year’s GRD should not be too tedious, I guarantee that most, if not all,...
