MIAMI--Logan Morrison and the Florida Marlins went the extra mile up to snap an eight game losing streak.

Morrison and Mike Stanton each hit a two run Homer and seven extra base hits in a 6-4 had the Marlins-victory over the Arizona of Diamondbacks on Friday night.

John Bock also homered and drove in two runs for the Marlins, who finished with 13 goals as a whole. Emilio Bonifacio had two double rooms.

It was Florida's first win since a 5-2 victory in Arizona on 31 May.

"Many things are long, if the offense is struggling and you are part of the offense," said Morrison. "Whether it is the games themselves, the dry spell, the lack of drive in runs." All that seems long. "It is finally good, a little break."
