E3 first impressions: Nintendo Wii U

Nintendo is now taken top spot for the longest lines at the E3 two years running. Generated in the last year the 3ds + desperately, their dirty hands on the new handheld getting 2-hour lines for people, and happens this year is equal to the console, the Wii U.S. Fortunately as respected members of the media (what you giggle at are?), we can bypass the lines and get some time with the demos page.

Trouble I is not even that go in the name, because it really, about what? It has been done already, to death, and nothing, what someone always says that changes the minds of geniuses think this name regardless to anyway.

Most of the demos were compatible with the Wii U controller and traditional Wii controller. In fact, have the Nintendo reps big use both controllers for the same game, as striking another method of control and sometimes even a different role each will play.

The first game we saw was Mario Bros new super. Mii, which played as the last new Super Mario Bros. game unless you also play your MIIS can - you guessed it. This had the slightest difference between the controller, both offers you the same platforming experience are used with 2D Mario. It was interesting to note, that which seemed the most people, the Wii U controller but used primarily to play the game as if it were a handheld focus on the controller screen, the action to follow.

It was followed by battle Mii, two Wii players in a 2-in-1 shoot-out similar to how some of the old Mario Party mini games the Wii U players played. The Wii U players got a spaceship and had the players walk. It controls by using the left stick move the ship while the integrated gyroscope handles the view and targeting Reticule, after you physically move the controller in the 360-degree space around you. It was one more than a little awkward at first, but a lot, who came from the fact that it is hard, to the unit move freely, while it is connected on a podium.

Chase Mii is an interesting insight into the possible uses for the Wii U screen. It was the day where the Wii U player "it" was essentially a game and had to rent a team of four to a large arena Wii players run. The Wii players had no map and communicate with each other to try and corner the Wii U...user (Wii U SER?). Meanwhile, the Wii U screen showed an aerial map with all positions, the, that a person to the try and run circles around the opposing team.

There were a few other demos the multiplayer demonstrations, as game and a mini game where U controller uses the Wii as a "Shield", a simple drawing block incoming virtual arrows, but the games were the note really.

Oh, and I would be remiss if I not the Legend of Zelda HD demo mentioned link reminiscent of Queen Ghoma in glorious HD confronted Chief against a large spider. What aroused my interest was however, that it not battle, that I remember of any other Zelda game so far. I asked, if we play at some point with this fight, but as expected expect a brand new HD Zelda on the road, I got cryptic shrugs and "but" were.

But a man can dream, right?
