When comes from the new Mario game? Iwata we talked about Super Mario 3D at GDC this year but since then something not heard. You can bet that that changes with E3 2011, but it seems like Nintendo needs the people a reason, in their machines a little more frequently invest. Perhaps the lack of games and non-binding statements by Nintendo on land than the heavyweights of the reason for the downward trend in the Nintendo Wii and 3ds is sales.

In fact, done in the past few weeks, Japanese sales of the Nintendo Wii and 3ds worse than any other period in the hardware life. The 3ds sold only 18,324 units, while the Wii count sold by creating a mere 11,520 units according to media. This is a 37% drop for the 3ds out last week.

Here are the numbers:

1. PSP - 34,826 (previous: 55,140)
2. Nintendo 3ds - 18,324 (29,149)
3. PlayStation 3-13, 789 (20,883)
4. Nintendo DS - 10,858 (19,516)
5. Wii - 6,336 (11,520)
6. Xbox 360 2, 763 (3.419)
7. PlayStation 2-1, 319 (1,696)
