The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Gets a collector's Edition

The autumn season means more games, games, and games. It means also money... lots and lots of money. Bethesda Director Todd Howard revealed that the latest Elder Scrolls game would join the growing number of collector's editions on shelves of this holiday season.

The Elder Scrolls-V: Skyrim come to retail in both regular and collector's editions. The more expensive of the two come up with:

- Alduin statue: created in conjunction with the IP factory, only this collector statue stands high 12 "and consists of high-quality PVC." Models of actual in-game digital 3D files, it presents Alduin, the World Eaters. It is perched on one of the game many Dragon walls which teach the player the deadly language of the Dragon.
- "Skyrim art" official art book: with more than 200 pages, full-color illustrations, sketches and models, this stunning 9 3/8 "x 12 1/8"-Couchtisch book presents the characters, creatures, environments and weapons of the Skyrim. With a foreword by game director Todd Howard and comment by Bethesda game studios artists, readers are led through the game iconic visual style.
- "The making of the Elder Scrolls-V: Skyrim" DVD DVD documentation provides exclusive, behind the scenes footage, including interviews with the Bethesda Game Studios team, and an insight into the story, gameplay, setting, legacy of the Elder Scrolls franchise, and much more as they take from concept to creation.
