Rise of nightmares - preview

So far, the most Kinect games were remarkably family-friendly or fitness-oriented. Inclusion of exercise in video games is a great idea, but you can everything you get on the move faster and more desperate as hordes of the undead? I take, that of Zumba every day, thank you.

The Rise of Nightmares requires simple: one night fought against (sometimes plunge) frightening and aggressive creatures to find, and hopefully save to survive your wife. No biggie, right? There is much blood, terror, weapon choices and tension. The horror-genre and motion-sensor-combo is a winner, especially if you find weapons such as the "meat grinder". It is a special moment when feeling, as if you actually destroy the Undead to pieces instead of only using a controller could be you.

Speaking it is easy to get into the swing controls. Honestly, part of the fun is to get in a panic and forget the controls, followed by spiders, stamping and cut in all directions without success (equivalent, the Kinect of the button mashing?). It is a balance of how much you move, really to play, so that it run not to an excessive or rapid have to Dodge. Timing is important, but so it is lazy no good idea (unless you want the message "You are dead" see much).

One thing that I found surprisingly - the Kinect apparently works fantastically well in almost pitch dark environments. There is really no other way to play a horror survival game, so that a major plus. On the off chance you under a rock of life where you rarely, an Xbox 360 (like me experience), I thought that was on every case should be referred. A further bonus - in such low light, no one is in terror Dreschender see.

Most importantly, it is the undead fan service. Among the various evil enemies there are always adorable sexy zombie nurses, as well as some unique and dangerous dancer. I liked especially the undead dancers pancake of tutus to see as they tried to mutilate and destroy. If it is not in ladies, decaying dudes, but they are also not the kind of guys, that you would see on the cover of GQ. Maybe I write about this matter to Sega.

Although the Rise of Nightmares has many of the typical trappings of a horror game, there is a fresh meat here to be enjoyed. The way and/or sensor aspect not spurious, and the overall experience is involved. And in the end, it serves as a powerful "training" for zombie apocalypse than sitting on the couch with a controller in hand.
