CDProjekt of currently only PC RPG the Witcher 2 is wildly successful since its release on critical end, and now the Polish developer has the measure for his commercial victories as well as result. When the count of the digital downloads by 200 thousand the game has sold over 940,000 copies worldwide.

Many people think that is much and compare them with mega Juggernauts like call of duty and Final Fantasy, but keep in mind, the exception, not the rule. Selling nearly a million is a big deal, and the company has secured more than 20 million Polish Zloty in pure profit. That's nearly seven million Canadian dollars. I took Canada, because it seems now more important than the American dollar. I'm sorry, home.

An Xbox 360 version will come in 2012, whereas a PS3 version still just a rumor at this point. Console versions not stack more millions, but certainly 360 / PS3 ports will only add CDProjekt's success.
