Today's announcement that Grand Theft Auto V was indeed on its way, even to the point that Rockstar Games was ready to show off an announcement trailer, was surprising to no one. We're very ready for the latest installment of the world's most controversial video game.

Spending hours upon hours in Grand Theft Auto IV's version of Liberty City has left us with quite the impression, but now that Grand Theft Auto V is officially on its way, let's examing what we know so far (very little) and narrow down the possibilities for GTA V's next location.
It certainly helps that Rockstar Games has a ton of assets and research already built up in their recent development of crime-caper L.A. Noire. It makes sense that those utilties could be put to better use by the in-house development teams at Rockstar Games.
