Assassin's Creed: Revelations Launch Trailer Kills Tons of Guards
AppId is over the quota
Assassin's Creed seems to have built up to this point, piling questions on top of questions, making gamers sweat while they waited for the secrets to be revealed. If you haven't finished the story up till now, you might want to take the weekend to get through Brotherhood to experience its cliff hanger ending.
If Assassin's Creed: Revelations can continue to iterate and improve upon the original vision, I'll continue to enjoy the yearly releases. I'm certainly invested in the story and characters, but a successful send off for Ezio would certainly make a new character or a return to Desmond a welcome addition to the franchise.
Assassin's Creed: Revelations will hit store shelves next week on November 15th for Xbox 360 and PS3. The PC version has been delayed to December. Look out for more coverage on GameRevolution and our verdict on the latest time-traveling action-adventure.

While Wii owners got their Bond remade in classic Activision fashion last year, Xbox 360 and PS3 owners have had to wait all this time just for an Oddjob or two. The classic shooter's revamped release has received the revamping process all over again, making the jump to HD with online multiplayer fitting of the Nintendo 64 classic.
While we wait patiently for the game's release next week, I'll put forward the fact that Pierce Brosnan will forever be the best Bond. You disagree? Take it up with me in the comments.
House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut Launch Trailer Is All Friendly and Flowers

Let's just make it clear: you'll need to put your birthday in before you watch the trailer below.
Tons of violence, cursing, more violence... and gag-balls mean House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut is really earning its M rating here in the states. These are the kinds of games we'd normally point and laugh at Australia over, but the country's new Adult rating means more gamers are getting more violence in the land down under that used to be just one big prison (also Madster).
I suppose HotD: Overkill Extended Cut is representative of one thing these new motion controls on the PS3 and Xbox 360 will bring. All the best Wii games are getting ported over in HD with new content. House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut is out now from Sega on PS3.
Grand Theft Auto V Trailer Incoming

What more can I say, really? Rockstar Games has posted a teaser logo on their site confirming that a trailer is coming for Grand Theft Auto V on November 2nd. Did you read what I just said? Grand Theft FUCKING Auto Five!!!!
I know it's difficult to believe after all the rumors and all of the hoaxes. But go ahead, visit rockstargames.com and see for yourself.

We're only a mere few days away from the release of a sure Game of the Year front-runner, Batman: Arkham City. This is Batman Arkham City, folks. It needs no introduction. It needs no hype. But Warner Bros. is bringing it anyway with a brand-new launch trailer.

Around E3, Ubisoft released a brief trailer focused on the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Revelations story. It was full of Animus glitches and fast cuts and by fast cuts I mean Ezio slitting the throats of a couple thousand guards. The old-hand assassin is back and he's brought new meaning to the same old footage. Take a look:
With a successful multiplayer beta under its bomb belt, what else could the upcoming AC entry hold? We'll find out on November 15th when Assassin's Creed: Revelations is released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
X-Men Destiny Launch Trailer Chooses a Side

I don't know about you, but Silicon Knights hasn't done much I've liked since Eternal Darkness... and I looooovvvved Eternal Darkness. Giving them a shot at the X-Men brand is a ballsy move, but if this trailer is any indication, I think they did pretty well by themselves.
X-Men Destiny puts you in control of three new mutants, forced to choose between the good X-Men and the bad... Mutants.... Look, this isn't difficult. Magneto looks like Magneto while Cyclops has gone back to the retro wardrobe for some reason. Hey, if that's what they have to do to get Wolverine in his blue and yellow suit, then I'm fine with it.
Choose your side when X-Men Destiny launches on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and DS tomorrow, September 27th.

I'm sure there's a ton of information in this trailer that you can sift through. As much as I'd like to tell you about all the crazy bull shit within but I just don't have the energy for it. Seriously. I'm tired. Why don't you just make me want to buy you Call of Duty. Just try.
OK, nice try.

TheJx4 - Joined: Jun 20, 2011Strike Packages = Assault, Support, Specialist.Assault is basically the same ol' run and gun gameplay. Killstreaks are the norm. I think they're called Strike Chains now.
Support players earn points for things like assists and grabbing/returning flags. They don't expire after death. A bit unbalanced if you ask me. It's also a bit misleading in the trailer as they are still referred to as Killstreaks.
Specialist players don't get Kill/Pointstreaks or Strike Chains, they earn perks. After the eighth kill, you have every perk available to you.
There is new equipment, but I don't really care much for them, so I didn't pay that much attention.
Quickscoping has returned. Which ****ing sucks. Grenades also seem to do the same amount of damage as ever.
So yeah, Day 1, but I'll most likely play Barebones. Because it sounds like a bit of a cluster**** and the a lot of the bad **** from MW2 has returned.0 0Like or Dislike?Posted: Sep 2nd, 2011 at 3:05 pm

I may pick it up and play through the singleplayer and maybe get online once in a while, I played so much BlOps I'm kind of getting burned out on it, but I do enjoy the zombie modes.0 0Like or Dislike?Posted: Sep 2nd, 2011 at 3:30 pm
TheJx4 - Joined: Jun 20, 2011I can see where you're coming from. It's different for me, as I didn't start playing CoD until MW2. Treyarch is cooking up something cool though, I wish I could talk about it. It'll probably be the last one I buy.0 0Like or Dislike?Posted: Sep 2nd, 2011 at 3:58 pm

The gaming industry.
You'll have to forgive me, Gamerevolution readers. I've just had a long talk with a friend of mind and I'm feeling very opinionated. So the structure of thisblog is going to suck a big one. Hopefully it'll get my message across and I'll be able to sort it out later. Where to s tart, where to start. The gaming industry as a whole has started to disappoint me. I say started because it has only been very recently where a few unsavory characters have begun to ruin...

Did you know there was a Tales game being developed for the Nintendo 3DS? I DIDN'T!!
Did you know that I'm going to buy a Tales game for my Nintendo 3DS? I DIDN'T!!
Namco Bandai shipped over the trailer above and the screens below for the upcoming Tales of the Abyss. The game is a port of the PlayStation 2 classic from all the way back in 2006. Honestly, I've been loving my 3DS as an RPG machine I can carry around in my pocket. I can't wait to have the classic cast of characters and RPG gameplay when it launches in North America this Fall.

Kingdom of Violence
Once upon a time the citizens of a fair and prosperous kingdom enjoyed a pastime. Their hobby was a combination of story-telling, make-believe, music, and action. Practitioners would don costumes and play out specially created stories with each other; some stories would have swordfights , others gunfights, others still would have no real world violence and would instead focus around more tranquil story elements. No matter the content the participants were normal people engaging in an interest....
