In a quote with GamesIndustry, Jens Uwe Intat, Head of EA Europe, believes that EA's relationship with Valve will continue to be healthy, as long as it's about Valve letting their product be published and distributed by them:
Peter Moore, in a full interview with Gamescom, Peter Moore has no problems with Steam... except for one caveat:Valve is run by very clever people, and I would say that's also true for Electronic Arts, we're all good business people. So, Valve, when they're looking for distribution for their products, looking at which publisher could actually do that, then I think we're the best publisher on the planet, both in Europe and North America.
There's no strain on that relationship because we're competing in one space... I think, as an industry, we're pretty good at competing and co-operating at the same time.
[Source 1, Source 2]We want to be able to support our customer directly. If there are opportunities to do that, then we'll do that. If Valve, through Steam are willing to allow us to do that, then there are no issues whatsoever. In the instances where you're not seeing a game on Steam, it's primarily because we can't deal directly with our consumer to resolve issues and do things we want to be able to do.

Apparently, according to this Canadian poster in Mississauga is selling this perfectly vanilla copy of Super Mario Galaxy. Oh, boy. Only $23.00? I'm sure' I'll...

Wait... he's selling a Wii game... to buy a new Wii? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Well, at least it has no scratc.... oh, that little...

Dear Mr. Severino,
Rich is a relative term. To a starving child in Africa, my small apartment with its cupboard full of canned goods would make him think I was quite well off, but he would look at you with your house, your car, your 3D TV, and all your other possessions and see a very wealthy man. You are rich enough to buy yourself any gadget that comes along, and that is what I meant. So stop rolling on the floor laughing, and get back out on that corner, because I hear the iPhone 5 is coming soon.
Yours truly,
tinymhgPS: I’m in to women.

Mr. Weapon's Guy - DIAGNOSIS
The patient has dependency issues on a woman he refers to as "Sasha". Violently opposes the idea of her being anywhere without him. Patient copes with his problems through excessive eating. Patient also suffers from excessive paranoia, claiming all the medics in the hospital are spies. This is most likely due to his Russian background and possible former work in the KGB, whom he states he "keeled many cowards" with.
Netflix Splits Into Two; Begins Offering Video Games Comment by cheesegod99.
Prediction: Separately, the two companies won't have the buying power to make either service function well. The DVD selection has already been falling behind, and Qwikster will have a tough battle against Red Box. Netflix streaming is facing a ton of new competitors, including google and amazon, who have Uncle Scrooge-like vaults of money to spend on exclusive content.
I think as more and more companies enter the streaming video arena, we will see less and less selection from all of them, and more exclusivity - want such and such movie /TV show? You need to subscribe to such and such streaming company - but they don't carry this OTHER show / movie you also want - some other company has exclusive rights to that...
In other words, the party's over folks, and we're all the losers.
Inafune: Capcom Has Trouble Collaborating with Western Developers Comment by Vicsander.
I made a account because this specifically pissed me the **** off. My sister's husband who was the environmental artist of Dark Void told me personally that they created a Multiplayer for DV. They had it finished and a few bug problems (biggest one was the main menu froze) when they told capcom they were almost finished the pushed the date 3 weeks early for release and said to get rid of the multiplayer. In essence either capcom is ****ing over them selves or they want to **** over other DeV's so they feel better about them selves they are ****ing up some where, and now like we're expriencing with Nintendo with diminished returns of the whole 3-DS thing and the constant remake (even lazy reforge of super marior 64, starfox 64 and zelda occurina of time) people are gonna get tired of it and just stop, but for cap com its resident evil and street fighter. Seriously they need to come up with more originality, well all companies need to including taking a plung into the unknown.
