Electronic Arts-origin service has revised the EULA which users on the digital road with pitchforks took this week due to their invasive practice collect user information to other third parties and marketing reasons. This is in contrast to, say, steam EULA always user data nor use mines only for valve is anyone.

EA is hoping that the children, softer, gentler version distract users enough of the fact that it is not something change ease user's minds. You can still collect "Nonpersonally identifiable information, including computer configuration, software usage, and peripheral devices connected" has, but it "for the purposes of improving our products and services". However, the amount of the appeasement policy in this new EULA is noticeable:

EA knows that you care how information about you collected, used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and EA would never sell your personal information to third parties, nor would it ever use spyware or install spyware on computers of the user.

In what can be compared to the Steam Summer Sale, an EA's Origin sale has appeared, reducing 36 titles to only $4.95 via digital download. Will this convince you to use Origin at all?

El primer F.E.A.R. ya era puesto por muchos como ejemplo de avanzadísima IA del rival. El ejército de clones bajo las órdenes de Paxton Fettel era un equipo altamente preparado que no dudaba en rodearnos, solicitar refuerzos o buscar nuestros puntos débiles en tiempo real. Una portentosa demostración de cómo enriquecer la experiencia jugable con un enemigo agudo y desafiante.

En Monolith todavía no se ha querido especificar ningún detalle sobre el multijugador, aunque ya se ha anunciado que será una de las partes a las que más atención le presten.

Project Origin no va a ser una excepción en esta línea y, de hecho, continuará progresando en esa dirección. Los villanos ahora usarán el entorno a su favor, y no sólo para cubrirse tras éste, sino también para modificarlo y que se adapte a sus necesidades. Prestarán especial atención a los objetos volátiles que nos rodeen, conscientes de que éstos acabarán con nosotros más rápido que sus balas; y, por otra parte, destruirán las partes del escenario que les estorben para rodearnos, empleando a su vez las diferentes armas que portan de la forma que mejor se adapte a sus circunstancias.

Estos detalles nos llevan en dos direcciones, la de los nuevos elementos del arsenal y la de la interacción con el entorno. Por un lado Monolith ha decidido en esta ocasión ampliar las armas con las que podemos cargar en una más, es decir que ahora podremos llevar cuatro en lugar de las tradicionales tres. De momento sus creadores siguen enfrascados en el secretismo más absoluto acerca de estas nuevas incorporaciones. Apenas hemos podido ver el cañón láser que prenderá fuego a nuestros enemigos.
