When call of duty 4: modern warfare was released, we were introduced to perks, Killstreaks, prestige, adaptation, and challenges in a fast-paced environment, where the action never stops, and players loved it. Assault is basically the same ol' run and gun gameplay. Killstreaks are the norm. I think they're called Strike Chains now.
Support players earn points for things like assists and grabbing/returning flags. They don't expire after death. A bit unbalanced if you ask me. It's also a bit misleading in the trailer as they are still referred to as Killstreaks.
Specialist players don't get Kill/Pointstreaks or Strike Chains, they earn perks. After the eighth kill, you have every perk available to you.
There is new equipment, but I don't really care much for them, so I didn't pay that much attention.
Quickscoping has returned. Which ****ing sucks. Grenades also seem to do the same amount of damage as ever.

Don't worry guys! You'll get the "Physical Warfare" pack from DICE and EA whether you preorder Battlefield 3 or not! At some point the game will be updated with the guns shown off in the trailer below. How long do you think it takes to pull out those little legs on the machine gun? I mean, if I'm in the heat of battle, am I going to want to take the time to lay out a picnic blanket so my shirt doesn't get dirty? NO.

Don't worry guys! You'll get the "Physical Warfare" pack from DICE and EA whether you preorder Battlefield 3 or not! At some point the game will be updated with the guns shown off in the trailer below. How long do you think it takes to pull out those little legs on the machine gun? I mean, if I'm in the heat of battle, am I going to want to take the time to lay out a picnic blanket so my shirt doesn't get dirty? NO.
