There have been a ton of new releases lately with brand new games from August and September flooding store shelves. As disappointed as I am to report, Deus Ex: Human Revolution didn't make the top 5 best-selling titles last month.

Here's what did!

1. Madden NFL 12
2. Gears of War 3
3. Dead Island
4. FIFA Soccer 12
5. NHL 12

Gotta love Madden's continue dominance, and no one should be surprised by Gears of War 3's strong sales. I am taken back by Dead Island's dominance in the market. With review scores tending low on the scales, Dead Island is probably surprising Deep Silver and Square Enix.

Guess that means we're in for more zombies! Take a look at the rest of the top 10 chart and then organize them into your own fantasy list.

6. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
7. Resistance 3
8. Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
9. Call of Duty: Black Ops
10. Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine

Japanese sales Tracker media create comes over you with another group of figures finger point. While Sony to fans something to celebrate, the PSPgo has practically admitted defeat at this point. The PSP platform took place first and last in hardware sales. The Nintendo 3ds had pushed modest numbers in second place and the PS3 the best week of the three home consoles. Here are the numbers:

PSP - 33,609
Nintendo 3ds - 24,283
PlayStation 3 - 15,987
Wii - 7,438
Nintendo Dsi LL - 5,197
Nintendo Dsi - 5,106
Xbox 360 - 2,303
PlayStation 2 - 1,274
Nintendo DS Lite - 139
PSP go - 76

Nintendo's sales figures got good help from two pieces of new software: One piece unlimited cruise SP promoted new 3ds owner and Pandora's Tower, a currently Japan-only Wii action game aided fading Nintendo's home console. I'm actually really, really interested in Pandora's Tower, the same way I was interested in Sin & punishment of the treasure. Published a Nintendo action game? Please bring it stateside! If a few will move it to more Wii's out the door, it will have done its job in America.
