Pretty simple really! I've got some new PC hardware coming in and I'll have laundry list of games to play to catch up in the world of computer gaming. Once I'm done with that I'll need to check out the best mods! I've already professed my love of GunGame plenty of times.

What's Sony Planning for Long Live Play?

What's Sony Planning for Long Live Play?

Sony kicked off their new Long Live Play campaign a couple of weeks ago, marking the triumphant return of Kevin Butler. But since then, things have been quiet... almost too quiet. It's like they are planning something... something big.

A video released today confirms our suspicions, Sony has definitely got something up their sleeve. Has KB gone back into hiding? What's with the mystery here? When Sony does something big, the VP of everything awesome is usually behind it.

What exactly doe Sony have in store for us? Watch the video, then tell us what you think that might be.

Having met and spoken with several developers behind August's Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I can say that they've got some incredibly in-depth ideas for their prequel. Eidos Montreal has been working on DE:HR for quite some time, but not a lot has been said about what's going on in the game's world. Let's rectify that now:

I'll be honest with you. I can't wait. GameRevolution's seen what feels like over half the game already. Nick's played like 10 hours of it. Crazy! When's August?! WHEN?! Related Games:  Deus Ex: Human RevolutionTags:  Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Eidos, Square Enix, trailer

And I really hope that it will be as deep as DEUS EX 1 was on PC, but I'm not betting on it since I've seen to many games being dumbed down for consoles.0 0Like or Dislike?Posted: Jul 1st, 2011 at 2:54 pmdrathbonedrathbone - Joined: May 19, 2011Is it me or do those character models not look up to spec for games coming out lately?0 0Like or Dislike?Posted: Jul 1st, 2011 at 4:33 pm

Cutscene Guidelines

I know its unnecessary to restate how much I like a good story in a video game, but seeing as a I parodoxically did anyways, I will gladly repeat: I love a good story in a video game (though I'll be sure to minimize how often I do so as not distract from my topics.) Seeing as I brought up story in games again, I would like revisit something that I touched upon in my first post. I mentioned that some games are overly reliant on cutscenes to convey plot development and exposition that is...
