2K Games had announced XCOM would launch on March 6, 2012, but parent company Take-Two Interactive announced its second quarter fiscal results and revealed the game’s moving past that date.

XCOM is now scheduled for “fiscal 2013,” which is sometime between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013.

Borderlands 2 is in the same boat: fiscal 2013.

Spec Ops: The Line has also seen significant delays, and Take-Two has tweaked its release window to “first half fiscal 13,” which would place the game sometime before the holidays.

And what about Grand Theft Auto V? As per usual, Take-Two is quiet on the latest from Rockstar Games. The company is typically conservative about disclosing anything regarding Rockstar products, and it’s not surprising Grand Theft Auto V is no different. Both the platforms and and release date (even year!) are both listed as “TBA.” Perhaps hope for a Wii U version?

Lastly, BioShock Infinite remains a "calendar year 2012," which means it's on track for...well, next year.

SYDNEY--the loudest cheers were for Tiger Woods. Greg Chalmers was a member of the Australian Open.

Chalmers won his championship for the second time Sunday, closing with a 3-under 69 to wait for a late charge by forests and a 50-foot birdie putt by John sending, which forced almost a playoff.

Woods had his best chance of winning all year round.

"Two holes on the back nine today, and I putted terrible yesterday, or I would have on the ground," Woods said.

Two images of t performed to bogeys on the back nine, although the second birdie on the toughest hole on the Lakes to no. 12 made then lined from green for Eagle on the 14th. Woods missed a 12-foot Eagle-putt on the 17th for a share of the lead.

Behind him Chalmers his final birdie with a brilliant tee shot on the 15th hole par-3 to tap-in range, then the line played error-free and took a meaningful par par-3-18 with a carefully made from the bunker.

Chalmers last won the Australian Open in 1998 at Royal Adelaide, one week before the Presidents Cup in Melbourne.

The matches back to Royal Melbourne next week, and forests at least showed that he not wasted by a captain pick by Fred couples. He was not only the low American degree alone in the third, he saw well here.

It was his best result against a full, because forests masters won last two years on the Australian.

"I felt great," Woods said. "It is nice to be healthy again."

Chalmers finished to 13 hours a day under 275.

There was a strong field for the Australian Open with eight Americans in the Presidents Cup team getting ready for the next week. Include Woods, a constant presence on the leaderboard. For Chalmers, satisfaction from his name on the silver trophy came again.

"I don't know whether there is additional satisfaction," said Chalmers beat a field that a 14 times include great masters. "I have my name twice on the Stonehaven Cup."

Sending, the leader who get early but was 54-hole, ground to a halt a chance late with a distance of well over 17 green for birdie. His long putt on the 18th went over the ridge and broke again in the direction of the high side of the Cup, but have missed by inches. He finished with a 72.

Defending champion Geoff Ogilvy had a 7-under 65, fourth with Adam Scott (68) Nick Watney (72), Nick bind, O'Hern (72) and Jason day of its opening discount taken shots in the water and had a 74.

"If I me use to keep in such positions, it is only a matter of time I learn the formula and break through and start to win," said day, the only PGA Tour in his four years at the US tour has to win. "I am very positive about where my game is now."

Six players from the top will be 10 by the Lakes Royal Melbourne next week for Presidents Cup.

Woods was within two shots of the lead at the turn, been error-free on the front nine for at least a chance of the risk-return holes along the back nine the Lakes.

The task has been the way and manner, he played the 11th, that ultimately a bad decision two holes later forced harder.

Woods hooked again his tee shot on the par 5 11, although with the wind at his back, it sailed over the portable toilet and into a sand dune where had spectators walked throughout the week. His ball was deep in a heel print, and an explosion was only turned on the side of this mess. He wound up missing a 7-foot par putt.

He made that with an 18-foot birdie on the 12.--one of only five birdies at the hole Sunday - and could not figure out how to play 315 Court 13. He went with driver for the second day, and this time it cost him.

"I have gone should not," Woods said. It a hard tea "is shot for me, because I'm right caught between the clubs." Driver is too much and 3-wood is not enough. I tried a large, slicing driver there meet and should have launched only.

"Unfortunately, I have the wrong decision and it cost me a shot."

He was fortunate that it was no longer. The ball barely carried a pond and embedded in the dirt about a foot behind the line red danger. Rather than on the other side of the water, Woods blasted behind the ball to it forward, gouge only delete it popped up and struck a tree, bouncing past and almost into a different pond. His chip was too short, and he had to receive careful for bogey.

He made still interesting by chipping in for Eagle from near the 14th green, then reaching the par-5 17th in two with a shot that caught the back and settled 12 metres. A chance to tie the lead Woods missed the putt and opted for a two putt par on the 18-hole of about 45 meters.

"Two bad shots on the back nine tons, cost me" Woods said.

Nevertheless it gave out more positive for him the week. Coming from a another four weeks break from competition, he played well enough to with the exception of his bad round turn-a 75 on the Saturday-win in a mediocre round.

It was the first time, he had to wait, to see whether his score would be sufficient, the year after signing his card. Chalmers this lasted as long as it took to save par from the bunker.

The only other time the forests has featured on a leaderboard was Sunday in the masters this year if he charge to tied was then to go even par on the back nine and simple four shots behind.

Woods has played only four tournaments since then due to injuries his left leg.

"It has been since Augusta, had I the lead in the Augusta on Sunday, which was the last time I is at this point," Woods said. "It's been a long time, unfortunately I have not played many tournaments in between." But it was great out there, I had a chance. "Unfortunately, I did post the number I wanted to place."

ANAHEIM, Kalifornien--64 seconds a decade-long journey ended Dana white stand before a Bank of cameras and announced the UFC first battle on prime-time network television as a complete success, how long it took.

"It was a good night," said President of the UFC. "Nothing wrong has to put on a live production." "It was perfect."

Junior dos Santos couldn't resist chiming in.

"I agree", said the UFCs new heavyweight champion, grinning broadly.

Cain Velasquez stopped dos Santos only 01: 04 in their UFC heavyweight title fight Saturday night, claiming the Velasquez belts and first show bring millions of alleged those new to the sport of mixed martial arts promotion a rapid end.

The short struggle was the only event on a one-hour broadcast on Fox, who earlier this year signed the UFC to a shipment of seven-year contract. All newcomers to the sport, which have a taste of MMA of violence, but not much sonst-- in particular, when they returned late from a commercial break.

Or even if she blinked.

Dos Santos hit Velasquez with an overhand right early in the first round, staggering the previously undefeated champion on the canvas. The Brazilian Challenger jumped on Velasquez, defended himself just before dos Santos relentless ground and pound hits finally succumb.

"All my fights I search the knockout," dos Santos said who broke into tears in the cage. "My coach used me to say that I have big hands, so I have tried to use a point in time." "It is good to use my strength, and that was today."

On the day after the UFC with an eight man tournament with no weight classes and a round fights to the finish with almost no rules, debuted exactly 18 years, his long-awaited major TV contract began the dominant advertising companies prime-time MMA with its first live show. The UFC use Spotlight, party tents and a red carpet outside Honda Center, which hosted several major MMA events in relatively short history of the sport, and the audience was filled with personalities from the Fox testing of stars and every other corner of Hollywood.

White chose these two fearsome fighters for debuted Fox due to the high potential for interruption MoneyLine - but white openly to questions Velásquez of decision and fight with dos Santos, one of the best fighter in MMA. "I just want to say, I'm sorry, my fans, family and friends." "I disappointed you," said Velasquez, with the decision of an arbitrator, the fight to stop. "I am much more than that." "I will be back, and I will take the belt back."

Dos Santos called Velasquez (9-1) only large blow his balance interrupted, when it landed behind the ear. The first minute before dos Santos almost decisive blow anything besides a takedown attempt by Velasquez recorded that was thwarted by dos Santos.

"It was a good shot," said Velasquez. "He has a lot of makes." I waited too much for him. "He went and what he should do so indeed, to do, hat way to him."

Velasquez had not since October 2010, fought when he claims that the belt of Brock Lesnar in the same Octagon at Honda Center, but tore his rotator cuff in the process.

LAS VEGAS -- Manny Pacquiao escaped again, in a decision that left Juan Manuel Marquez fuming once again.

The Filipino sensation was taken to the limit Saturday night before winning a majority decision that infuriated Marquez and most of the sellout crowd at the MGM Grand arena. While close, the win helped Pacquiao continue a remarkable run that has made him the most exciting fighter in the sport.

In a bruising battle against a counterpuncher who was both accurate and fast, Pacquiao needed the final round on two scorecards to pull out the win. He got it, even though a third judge scored the round in favor of Marquez.

As boos -- and cans and bottles -- rang down on the ring, Pacquiao celebrated another victory and another huge payday.

"My fans are very happy because they thought I won," Pacquiao said.

He did, but on the narrowest margin. That, perhaps, was to be expected considering the previous 24 rounds the two had fought were just as close.

Pacquiao won on two scorecards, while the third ringside judge had it a draw. It was a narrow escape for the Filipino congressman, who took as much punishment as he got over 12 rounds, and Marquez was so upset he stormed from the ring.

"This was the second robbery and this one was the worst," Marquez said. "We won with clearer punches."

The third fight between the two was as close as the previous two, and by the time they finished 12 rounds the outcome was still in doubt. Pacquiao won some rounds with sheer aggression, while Marquez won others with brilliant counterpunching, keeping Pacquiao from getting inside.

Marquez was a 7-1 underdog, but it was clear early he would be in this fight. He picked Pacquiao apart with right hands almost every time he tried to get inside, and landed good hard flurries throughout the fight.

Pacquiao was the aggressor throughout, and landed some sharp punches of his own. But when the decision was announced, the crowd booed roundly and, once again Marquez had lost a close fight.

One ringside judge had it a 114-114 draw, while two others favored Pacquiao by 115-113 and 116-112. The Associated Press had it 114-114.

"It's hard when you're fighting your rival and the three judges, too," Marquez said.

The sellout crowd at the MGM Grand arena threw bottles and cans toward ringside after the decision was announced, with one full can hitting a ringside writer.

Pacquiao found out early he would be in for a long night, taking counter punches from Marquez in the opening rounds while looking for his own opening. He had trouble all night finding his range and, when he did get inside, Marquez often moved to the side and landed a counter right hand.

It was the third close fight between the two men, though this one was fought at 144 pounds instead of 125 as was their first fight seven years ago. That fight was a draw, while Pacquiao won a split decision in the second bout in 2008 at 130 pounds.

Marquez fought going backward all night, and that might have been his undoing. While he landed well at times, Pacquiao was in his face most of the night.

Ringside punch stats showed just how close the fight was. Pacquiao was credited with landing 176 of 578 punches, while Marquez landed 138 of 436.

The power punches were even closer, with Pacquiao connecting on 117 to 100 - though Marquez seemed to land the harder punches.

Pacquiao was behind on one scorecard and only ahead by a point on a second going into the 12th round, and the crowd was on its feet roaring for what they expected to be a classic last round. But both fighters were tentative, brawling only toward the end of the round, and two judges gave Pacquiao the round while the third gave it to Marquez.

"He was ready for my punches," Pacquiao said. "I thought I blocked a lot of his punches."

The fight was fought at a hard pace, and both fighters fought in spurts that brought the crowd to their feet. Pacquiao won the first three rounds on two scorecards, then Marquez came roaring back with some crisp right hands of his own.

It was evident early that both fighters were so familiar with each other they knew what the other was going to do, and they compensated by fighting in spurts when each had the advantage. Neither ever seemed seriously hurt, though Marquez landed several right hands that snapped Pacquiao's head back and stopped him from coming forward.

The two clashed heads in the ninth round, opening a cut above Pacquiao's right eye, and he was also cut inside his mouth. Marquez wasn't cut but his face was swollen and his eyes were closing in the later rounds.

It was the 15th straight win for Pacquiao, who earned a minimum of $22 million while improving his record to 54-3-2. Marquez, who earned $5 million, fell to 52-6-1.

Georgia stomps Auburn glowing No. 14

Georgia stomps Auburn glowing No. 14

12. November 2011

ATHENS, GA. - A Georgia player threw his helmet in the air and student flew to section waving his arms. At the other end of the Sanford Stadium, the band played and the Red clad fans chanted "SEC!" SEC! "SEC!"

The Bulldogs are a victory of games for the Championship.

Aaron Murray threw four touchdown passes, Matthew Stafford school to exceed record and no. 14 Georgia, with a dominant first half-year performance Ghanaians past no. 24 Auburn 45-7 Saturday.

The Bulldogs can clinch the Southeastern Conference East next weekend with a win over Kentucky between the hedges.

Quite a comeback last year losing record and an 0-2 start this season.

"We have an edge with a chip on our shoulder, came from", said security Bacarri Rambo, of a monitor returned for a different Georgia touchdown. "I hope we have a statement with this game."

You get no argument from the defending national champions. The Bulldogs (8-2, 6-1 SEC) won their eighth rivalry oldest in a row with a dominant performance in the deep South, a 35-7 halftime lead stunned the Tigers (6-4, 4-3).

Georgia finished with his greatest victory in the series since a 41-0 triumph in 1946.

"We feel great," Murray said. "Control we our own destiny." "But still have we next week to get back to Atlanta to win."

The Bulldogs will try their first championship in six years clinch and each talk about Mark dir. coaching future wipe out completely. He was under fire after Georgia 6-7 a year ago, losing his first season since 1996 went. The criticism intensified only when the Bulldogs opened this year with losses Boise State and South Carolina.

"Also" when we lost the first two games Rambo said, "we knew, had we still a chance."

Murray scored his points passes by halftime it 27 TDs on the season and nine in the last two weeks. He broke the school mark of 25 set Stafford in 2008 before he was selected No. 1 in the NFL draft.

With 92,000-seat Sanford Stadium as loud as it was in the years Georgia four of its first five offensive possessions erzielte-- the only error that was first of two fumbles by rookie Isaiah Crowell. Auburn was looking for Georgia back on the next game.

Murray touchdown threw passes of 8 meters, Tavarres King, 27 metres after Michael Bennett, 15 meters, Bruce Figgins and 25 M Malcolm Mitchell.

Auburn briefly tied the game 7 with a little sleight of hand. Pass to freshman c.j. Uzomah, a 4-yard pass, Philip Lutzenkirchen tilted, catch Clint Moseley the Georgia of native third TD in two years against the Bulldogs.

That's it for the Tigers by large reconstruction pain winner cam Newton quarterback went after winning the national title with Heisman Trophy. They have four SEC road games by a combined 111 points lost, and that was even the ugliest performance. Auburn turned over three times and was outgained in total yards 528-195.

"It was a complete team loss," said Moseley. "I can not pinpoint one or two things." There are too many things. "It was simply bad."

Entfernt-lucky for Georgia, which Tigers win a game of Jordan-Hare Stadium - a 16-13 upset of South Carolina on Oct 1 back. This could be the difference in the SEC East.

The Bulldogs fell behind in the area with the 45-42 loss for the gamecocks in the second week of the season. Georgia has since not been defeated, while South Carolina another conference game in Arkansas last week dropped the way for Georgia to take in the East.

A more will win it do.

"This is my first year," said Crowell. "The SEC Championship sounds good to me."

Crowell and Carlton Thomas, both from previous game of Georgia waived after the failed a drugs test, reportedly has Georgia his first won rushers pair 100 yard since 2009 Crowell 132 and the Bulldogs finally scored touchdown, Thomas had 127. Murray was 14 18 for 224 yards.

There was no vulgarity that marked last year game, when Auburn rallied to an early 14-point gap with a 49-31 victory on the way to a perfect season buzz. Nick Fairley delivered two brutal hits on Murray, there 10 personal fouls and two Auburn players to throw wound up with suspensions for hits.

However this was over so quickly no one had a chance to too crazy.

Moseley was 11 of 22 140 meters, spend most of the day for his life running. He was sacked five times. The Tigers were 51 yards on the ground - compared with 304 for Georgia place.

"It was pretty obvious we could do what", coach gene Chizik said, "and that was a lot."

Auburn that was most devastating sales with Georgia until 21-7. On third of down by his own 17 Moseley threw in the Middle, Rambo striped to the recipient, select it, then produced a 24-yard return that was even better than his seventh interception of the season. Safety cut to his right, picked up several key blocks and got into the end zone on a pile of players.

He was inspired by defensive coordinator Todd Grantham ribbing and offensive coordinator Mike Bobo by some good natured.

"it is all I do interceptions, but I'm never getting on the end zone," said Rambo. "I had in my mind that the next catch, I will take it that I get to the House."

He did. Rambo was pummeled by his team-mates against the famous hedges and Georgia Bank raged, drawing a penalty for excessive celebration.

Bulldogs sense not flags a little.

It’s one thing when a message board gets compromised, it’s quite another when it’s one of the most popular services amongst PC users.

An unidentified user or group of users gained access to the Steam message boards on Sunday, and subsequently “obtained access to a Steam database in addition to the forums,” the company said today.

The statement, signed by founder Gabe Newell, claims the company has found no evidence of credit card fraud, but recommends users to monitor their financial accounts closely. Even if you didn’t have an account on the Steam message boards, Valve recommends changing your password.

“I am truly sorry this happened, and I apologize for the inconvenience,” said Newell.”

Users accessed “a Steam database in addition to the forums” that had user names, hashed and salted passwords, game purchases, email addresses, billing addresses, and encrypted credit card information. There is currently no evidence the credit card information has been decrypted, and Valve is “still investigating.”

Only a few message board accounts were reportedly compromised, and they “do not know of any compromised Steam accounts” at this time.

Basically, change your password. If Valve issues further updates, I’ll let you know.

Stern: "Greedy" agents violate the NBA deal opportunities

NEW YORK--NBA Commissioner David Stern blamed "greedy" agents Saturday for trying one new work deal with NBA players life and believes that they are trying push their customers in a "lose strategy" the dissolution of their Union.

Stern said the threat of decertification, nor any request that changes player Union the League's negotiating position, repeat that no further discussions on the revised it proposal, it would offer Thursday.

Stern said that he fears that the player not getting the right information about the content of the proposal, because NBA worried it yourself agents will cost money.

Star "By a combination of hypocrisy and greed, which are agents that search for themselves instead of their customers business, life", said in a telephone interview. "it involved an orchestrated Twitter campaign and a series of interviews that deny the economic realities of the proposal are apparently."

Representatives meet player Monday to decide whether she should put the recent proposal to the vote. The indication Thursday by Union leaders was that she impressed with him, and have a number of players since it was quoted that she would to shoot down the business.

Stern said that this is because the agents, should not, because it a bad offer.

"No talks about the increase in the compensation under the deal, spent speaking no one about the amount of money," Stern said. "I think that the players not the information which accurate information from their agents that together, banding are kind of the Coalition the greedy and mendacious always to do what they can not less opportunity for the agents to make money."

The revised proposal but still far behind what the player into the former collective agreement, a player had some improvements over the Tuesday said offered they would reject. It took the "Mini" orientation school exception for teams luxury tax, $3 million per year for three years, allows taxpayers to participate in sign-and trade for the first two years, and for teams under the salary cap added to another orientation school.

Owner request also a 50-50-distribution of income relating to basketball, which would keep players if the concessions that they on the system to search.

But the revised proposal may not well discuss enough, and players of the Union already decertifying, so they instead can file an antitrust lawsuit against the League.

Stern said, that would not give the players they use they are looking for because it is a lengthy process. It probably also hopes for a season 2011-12 would kill, he said.

"Yes, I am concerned," Stern said, "because she, until this thing called decertification talk, is a strategy to win on the one hand." "On the second page it will take three months to teach them that it would good no strategy to win, not for the season."

Stern said again that there would be no further discussion on the amended proposal. Player calls for a 53-47 revenue share it, the next proposal to the owners, is to reject a Flex cap with a hard cover and content rollback.

Stern said that the Union's proposal was delivered on Friday. Union leaders have been criticized for not getting the information about them to players in time to prepare them for a qualified vote.

"they say they are done, negotiations." If we really at that point, players must to see exactly what's on the table-not the Internet not Twitter - and just in written form to see, this is the proposal, "said an agent."

Nov. 12, 2011

BOISE, Idaho -- Boise State's quest for perfection and BCS glory were dashed again by a missed field goal.

The fifth-ranked Broncos had a chance win a last-second thriller against TCU on Saturday, but freshman kicker Dan Goodale's 39-yard kick sailed wide right as time expired to give Horned Frogs a 36-35 victory.

TCU now has a clear path to the Mountain West Conference crown.

For the Broncos, losing this way may seem all too familiar. Last year, Boise State's unbeaten season and BCS hopes were spoiled when senior Kyle Brotzman missed from short range in regulation and overtime, enabling Nevada to walk away with a 34-31 overtime win.

Kellen Moore, who drove the Broncos into scoring range in the final 55 seconds, deflected any postgame parallels to the last season's misery in Nevada, arguing instead that losses in big games rarely come down to one player or a single player.

"We missed opportunities. I don't think it's just one play, it's a variety of plays," said Moore, who threw for 320 yards, two touchdowns but lost for the first time at home in his career. "It's a loss so it feels similar, but there's not great feelings."

The Broncos (8-1, 3-1) clearly had their chances to avoid any field goal dramatics in a back-and-forth battle between two perennial BCS busting teams.

Leading 35-28, Boise State got the ball at their own 32 with 5:37 remaining. Moore then engineered a methodical drive and got the Broncos in scoring position when a fumble by backup running back Drew Wright was recovered by TCU (8-2, 5-0) with 2:26 remaining.

Then Casey Pachall took over -- and that was bad news for Boise State.

The sophomore was 24 of 37 for a career-best 473 yards and five touchdown passes, including scores of 75, 74 and 69 yards in the first half.

Pachall calmly marched the Horned Frogs before firing a 25-yard TD pass to Brandon Carter, who leaped over a defender to make the grab in the end zone and pull TCU within 36-35 with 1:05 remaining.

TCU coach Gary Patterson made a gutsy call, opting to put the game in Pachall's hands and go for the lead instead of the tie. It worked. Pachall tossed a short pass to Josh Boyce, who fought his way into the end zone, putting TCU up 36-35 and quieting a raucous Bronco Stadium crowd.

Patterson said the decision to go for two points was easy considering the circumstances.

"We're not going to win this if this keeps going," Patterson said. "So, the only way we're going to be able to do it is to steal it. We were able to get the play and get the points and we were fortunate that they missed a field goal. It's just as simple as that."

The Horned Frogs rolled up 506 total yards, carving up a Boise State secondary riddled with injuries and forced to use backups at the corners.

"It really brings a relief because we've been fighting hard all year, especially in the fourth quarter," Pachall said. "Now that we actually pulled one off, it's a lot of relief. It gives us a lot of motivation and confidence."

It also gives the Horned Frogs the inside track on the league championship in their final year in the Mountain West. TCU wraps up with home games against Colorado State and UNLV; while Boise State has games remaining against San Diego State, Wyoming and New Mexico.

The TCU victory also gives then 22 straight wins against conference foes and sets a new MWC record of 12 straight conference road wins.

For the Broncos, the loss snaps their 35-game home winning streak, which had been the nation's longest. But it also forces Boise State to recalibrate their postseason plans again. No longer a contender for the big money, BCS bowls, the Broncos now look to lesser bowls like the Poinsettia Bowl and Las Vegas Bowl.

"We'll see what these guys are made of," Boise State coach Chris Petersen said. "This is real-life football. You don't win all your games all the time - as much as we've done that around here."

In the first regular-season meeting between Boise State and TCU, Boise State jumped out first when Moore fired a 22-yard TD pass to Matt Miller.

Pachall responded on the next possession, finding Josh Boyce wide open for a 74-yard pass down the left sideline. Boyce caught five passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns. Pachall found him again in the second quarter for a 69-yard touchdown pass.

TCU kicker Ross Evans missed the extra point attempt, but TCU held a 20-14 lead at the half, the first time Boise State had trailed at the half all season.

Boise State came out strong in the second half, forcing a TCU fumble on the first play. Defensive end Tyrone Crawford picked up the bouncing ball and ran 32 yards for a touchdown. The extra point gave the Broncos a 21-20 lead.

After stopping TCU on their next possession, Moore engineered a 67-yard, 10-pay scoring drive capped by D.J Harper's 3-yard TD run to put Boise state up 28-20.

TCU pulled closed the gap on their next possession when Pachall tossed a 2-yard touchdown pass to Boyce. Pachall followed that by scampering around the right end into the end zone to convert on a 2-point play.

"You saw two really good quarterbacks out there," Patterson said. "I told [Pachall] at the beginning of the week that games like this is how legends are made."

“That player is motherfucking hardcore,” exclaimed Chris Pruett, chief taskmaster at Robot Invader.

Pruett was reacting to someone actually discovering everything--S-ranked, they call it--there is to find in their first game, Wind-Up Knight, within 24 hours of being uploaded to the Android marketplace.

It’s remarkable for a couple of reasons, least of which is that creative director Casey Richardson, who designed much of Wind-Up Knight, figures it would still take him, even now, four or five hours to hit that same achievement.

You gain more powers over time, as Wind-Up Knight eases you into its advanced mechanics. You gain more powers over time, as Wind-Up Knight eases you into its advanced mechanics.

Wind-Up Knight represents an interesting experiment on the part of Pruett and the three-man crew currently behind the Mountain View, California-based Robot Invader. The game is available for free, and it’s possible to experience all of the content in the game without spending a dime, but doing so requires expert precision on the part of the player, and a heck of a lot of patience. In order to unlock everything in Wind-Up Knight, a player must S-rank the entire game, scooping up all the collectables.

The game is a variation on the runner, a genre largely popularized by the likes of Canabalt and Jetpack Joyride. It’s more complicated than other runner games, allowing players to jump, duck, hold up a shield and even slash a sword.

Robot Invader read about, talked over and studied the different sales models currently employed with mobile games, but from the perspective of a bunch of hardcore players. Many games were taking advantage of time-based systems to forced players to start paying up, the foundation behind the success of socialzed games like FarmVille and the rise of its creator, Zynga.

“We played a lot of mobile games where they’re designed around an artificial waiting period,” said Pruett. “You can continue to play the game for free if you want to, but after a certain point, you can’t actually do anything unless you wait. And because you’re impatient, you don’t want to wait, then you spend some money to get out of the waiting period. The real reason the waiting period is there is not because some game design requires it, but because they want to get people to pay.”

In theory, Pruett has nothing against a company employing this strategy for their game, but the frustration arises over modern monetization systems being pushed upon games where it didn’t make sense. That wouldn't be the case for Wind-Up Knight, and so they began to brainstorm, knowing that one cannot sustain a company long without income.

Love it or hate it, FarmVille works for a bunch of people, but its model isn't applicable to every game out there. Love it or hate it, FarmVille works for a bunch of people, but its model isn't applicable to every game out there.

“We wanted to ensure that that type of gamer, that the person who is incentivized to go back and improve their score, and really become highly skilled at this game, that that kind of gamer, as a reward for their awesomeness, is able to continue for free,” said Pruett.

This is the interesting middle ground Wind-Up Knight landed on, and there’s surprising nuance to it.

The game is divided into four worlds (“books”), and buying each costs $1.99, which means it’s ultimately more expensive to buy each book as you go along, rather than paying for everything up front or taking advantage of the one-time offer.

You can buy every level outright for $3.99, but the first time you boot up the game, when you’ve finished the fourth level, a one-time prompt appears and asks if you’d like to pay $1.99. That offer will never appear again, but if you’re already digging the game, Robot Invader will knock off $2.

If you play Wind-Up Knight on an Xperia Play, the controls actually get mapped to the buttons. If you play Wind-Up Knight on an Xperia Play, the controls actually get mapped to the buttons.

There’s even more to it, though.

If you collect nearly enough of Wind-Up Knight’s in-game currency, notes, but are only a few off, you can purchase additional notes for $1 to push you over the edge. And if you’re patient, you can download an in-game advertising application, Tap Joy, that will hand out free notes over time.

“You have the people that are willing to spend money, don’t really care, and they can just do it--they just want to see the end of the level, right?” said Richardson. “Those are the people that will pay for it. But you also have hardcore people that want to collect every single thing. Generally, we think those people don’t really want to pay too much for stuff--those are your hardest of hardcore. There’s a way you can game the system, but we build it into the game.”

The downside to having these many options is the potential for confusion amongst users, which Richardson admitted has been a challenge since Wind-Up Knight launched in late October.

“Still a LOT of confusion over the purchasing model,” he said. “People that get it, really appreciate what we're trying to do, but unfortunately it's a little complicated for most and, at least the vocal minority, are just naturally suspicious.”

Wind-Up Knight is at over 500,000 installs, which means it’s doing pretty well from Robot Invader's perspective, and the team is looking into ways to simplify how the in-app purchases are presented to make it more presentable to everyone.

Robot Invader is also working an iOS version that should be available in the near future.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- On a gorgeous sunny Saturday in Happy Valley -- Penn State found out what life after Joe Paterno was like. This was, in a way, the first day of the rest of Penn State's life: a future without Joe Paterno as coach.

This, obviously, was not your typical Saturday afternoon here. It has been anything but typical in the past week: sexual abuse allegations against a former defensive coordinator, including child rape, and then an alleged cover-up by the highest of university officials. And it was evident well before kickoff -- a kickoff notable because for the first time since since Nov. 19, 1949, Joe Paterno was not standing on the Penn State sideline.

A couple of hours before kickoff, a Penn State fan held up a sign as high as his arms would reach. This wasn't like most signs outside Beaver Stadium trying to buy or sell tickets: this sign had a much different message.

"The World Is A Dangerous Place Not Because Of Those Who Do Evil But Because Of Those Who Look On And Do Nothing." -- Albert Einstein

Nearby a woman, who was standing a few yards from a hill where nearly two dozen police officers on horseback were perched, passed out bookmarks, advocating for the prevention of child abuse. "May No Act Of Ours Bring Shame."

On another side of the stadium members of the Westboro Baptist Church protested the game being played and held up signs that read "God Hates You."

And then there was a bomb threat called in on Saturday morning that turned out to be a hoax.

The scene inside Beaver Stadium was just as surreal.

Ten minutes before kickoff the public address announcer asked for "a moment of silence for all those who have suffered from child abuse."

Then a few minutes later something truly special happened: both teams left their sidelines and met at midfield. Players from Nebraska and Penn State exchanged hand shakes and hugs. Then they gathered in a circle and took a knee in prayer. Never have 107,903 fans been this quiet.

The prayer -- and the silence -- lasted for at least a minute. Of everything involving Saturday’s 17-14 victory by Nebraska against Penn State, nothing came close to matching that moment.

"It was definitely cool," Nebraska freshman defensive tackle Chase Rome said. "As football players we feel for them. It was cool to show we sympathize with them. The whole situation is obviously awful. I can't imagine how they dealt with that."

Last weekend, former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky was charged with sexually abusing eight boys over a 15-year period. Penn State's president, a vice president, the athletic director and Paterno all were fired for failing to alert the police following a 2002 incident.

After Paterno was fired by the school's Board of Trustees Wednesday night, Penn State's students rioted. They tipped over a television news van, tore down light poles and caused other vandalism.

On Friday night, however, thousands of students organized and held a candlelight vigil in front of "Old Main," the school's administration building.

Because of all those events, some folks, including Nebraska coach Bo Pelini, didn't feel like the Saturday's game should be played. But it was. And those in attendance witnessed history. In 1950, Paterno became a Penn State assistant until 1965 before becoming the Nittany Lions’ head coach in 1966.

Since Paterno took over for Rip Engle in 1966, there have been 889 head coaching changes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). Interim coach Tom Bradley taking over for Paterno was No. 890. To honor his father, assistant Jay Paterno wore one his father's white jackets. He also wrote a letter to his parents, that he hand delivered about 8 a.m. -- fours before kickoff.

Jay Paterno said the letter expressed: "Just how proud of them I am, and, Dad, I wish you were here."

"I think today it just made the healing process start to begin," Bradley said.

Added Penn State senior linebacker Nate Stubar: "It was a tough game. There were a lot of emotions going on."

None as much as the pregame prayer.

"It was deeply moving," Nebraska assistant Ron Brown said. "Imagine 106,000 people coming to a dead silence in respect and awe."

Brown said he received a call Friday from a member of Penn State's Athletes in Action ministry group. Both coaching staffs discussed the pregame prayer on Friday and Bradley and Pelini approved it later that night.

"We felt like we needed to make a statement to America amidst all the craziness, God is in control," Brown said. "There were some tragic things that are being uncovered and revealed. It just brings to mind where we're at in our country: all the things that are happening. Young lives that are deeply influenced [by] good, bad and ugly."

Hopefully this situation doesn't get any uglier.

"The message was: we were asking God to heal this place, asking the Lord that he would reveal himself through these young men," said Brown, who led the pregame prayer. "Right now there's a lot of questions, lot of embarrassments and a lot of issues for a lot of people.

"This [situation] will lead to all kinds of people coming forward with issues regarding child abuse, things we haven't even heard yet. It does need to be uncovered. It's a sad dilemma, a terrible epidemic. But God is a healer."

While Saturday was the first day in a long, long healing process for everyone with any ties to Penn State, it was also another day in trying to heal for those victims and their families.

No one should ever forget that.

Nov. 12, 2011

DURHAM, N.C. -- Mike Krzyzewski hustled off the court, just as he has done so many times during three-plus decades at Duke.

The Hall of Fame coach tried to turn this one into just another victory, and it didn't work.

This time, Coach K caught his college coach on the career wins list.

Krzyzewski tied Bob Knight atop the Division I men's victories list with his 902nd victory in No. 6 Duke's 96-55 rout against Presbyterian on Saturday.

"Whenever an individual coaching honor occurs, it's because of your players and your assistants and the infrastructure you build," Krzyzewski said. "You're just the recipient of a lot of good things, then, because you're the head of it. Good players and unselfish kids win a lot of ballgames."

Ryan Kelly scored 17 points for the Blue Devils (2-0), who shot 61 percent and used a huge first-half run to deliver another milestone victory to their Hall of Fame coach. Coach K improved to 902-284 during his 37th season as a college coach at Army and Duke. He can pass Knight -- his coach and mentor -- on Tuesday night against Michigan State at Madison Square Garden.

Krzyzewski entered this season needing three wins to pass Knight, and repeatedly has said how proud he is that the first two men's coaches in Division I to reach 900 wins are a coach and his former point guard. That bond, naturally, led to some good-natured needling between the two.

"He says to me, 'Michael ... Can you tell your kids to win those three games real quick?' " Krzyzewski said. "I said, 'Coach, yeah, those first three, every game's important.' He says, 'No, no, not for that. I'm getting tired of saying nice things about you.'

"He says, 'Tell your players I'm getting angry, and maybe that will motivate them,' " Krzyzewski added. "I said, 'Well, Coach, I've spent my entire life trying to make sure you haven't been angry.' "

Krzyzewski continued his steady climb up the wins list by matching Knight -- for whom he ran the point at Army in the 1960s. The Cameron Crazies chanted "902" as the final seconds ticked away, then chanted his name after the horn.

The public address announcer notified the 9,314 in attendance that the win moved Krzyzewski into a tie with Knight, and Coach K briefly huddled with the Blue Devils on the court, then whisked into the locker room as the song Celebration blared from the speakers.

"We want to win for Coach, but we want to win every game," Kelly said. "That's how we approach it, and that's how Coach approaches it. He's just worried about the game at hand. Numbers are a nice thing, but we need to worry about our team right now."

Krzyzewski insisted the record "hasn't been a distraction for me, except time-wise. I'm good about not making it that big of a thing, even though I know it's a big thing. I'm not minimizing it, but it really will happen [in time], and the development of my team will only happen right now. I've got to do that [develop his team]. That's just what you're supposed to do.

"It's kind of hard to believe, really."

Freshman Austin Rivers scored 15 points, Miles Plumlee had 13 points and 11 rebounds and younger brother Mason Plumlee added 13 points for Duke, which improved on a couple of streaks at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Blue Devils won their NCAA-best 38th straight home game and their 88th in a row against nonconference opponents at home.

The biggest challenge the Blue Devils faced - aside from all the attention for their coach's march toward history - was the possibility of fatigue after a quick turnaround. The game against Presbyterian started roughly 17 hours after Duke's tighter-than-expected, 77-76 victory over pesky mid-major Belmont in the opener.

"It was weird because I'm not really used to anything like that -- the only experience I have is AAU, where you play like four games in one day, but that's nothing like a college game," Rivers said. "We know what we have to lose, and that's a lot. We come in here very focused and very ready to win, and that's what we did."

The Blue Devils had to work plenty hard to beat those Bruins, who returned the nucleus of a regular NCAA tournament team. They weren't required to expel nearly as much effort to beat a Blue Hose team that until last year had never defeated an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent.

"It was like going into a knife fight with a toothpick," Presebyterian coach Gregg Nibert said.

Duke's young team -- which has only one senior on the roster -- is learning to play without three key players who are now on NBA rosters: Nolan Smith, Kyle Singler and, to a lesser extent, Kyrie Irving, who played only 11 games during his lone injury-plagued season in Durham.

These Blue Devils took a significant step forward by coming up with their first overwhelming run of the new season.

Duke outscored Presbyterian 29-6 midway through the first half to push its lead well into double figures and remove all the drama from this one.

The Blue Devils led just 19-17 with 12 minutes left in the half before Mason Plumlee started the burst with consecutive baskets. Freshman Quinn Cook hit two 3s during the surge and reserve Josh Hairston capped the run with a layup that made it 48-20 with 3 minutes before the break. Cook and Seth Curry finished with 10 points apiece.

Al'Lonzo Coleman had 11 points for Presbyterian (1-1). Pierre Miller scored 10 points, and his 3 made it a two-point game before Duke began its decisive run. Presbyterian, the preseason pick to finish seventh in the Big South, went 8½ minutes without a field goal during that span.

"That was a clinic out there offensively," Nibert said. "We know how great their guards are, and we tried to go in there and hope that the big guys beat us. They not only beat us, they did a tremendous job."

COLUMBIA, MO-Gary Pinkel was the last session of the big 12, the best of Texas.

Missouri coach seemed the finishing of school six game not too euphoric about losing streak in the series and you tap the only Conference school he had to move the heading in the next year in the SEC

For one thing, you probably lost Tiger Rusher leading the Conference for the rest of the year. They are also only 500.

"I don't think 'Gosh, I finally beat Texas!' from this field" Pinkel, said after Missouri 17 No. 21 of Longhorns upset on Saturday. "I do not do."

"This game who is it matter to me, this gives us the opportunity to have a really good season and achieving some goals."

Kendial Lawrence of top 100 yards with a touchdown in the discharge of Henry Josey and a defense burned 697 meters at the Baylor a week earlier no. 21 Texas from the end zone out for the first time since 2004 held. Missouri won only the second time in the last 17 times in the series.

"I am really disappointed offensive," said Texas coach Mack Brown, refused to injuries as an excuse against.

"Even though they think up longer than I I've ever seen at one point, we still have to do our best to win the game," added the coach.

Pinkel said Josey underwent an MRI exam, but expect that positive news. Coming from four straight games with 125 or more rushing yards, Josey 19 yards on 11 carries found.

"I feel really bad for Henry," said Pinkel. "What happens if he has surgery or what ever have, we have the best people takes care of him and bringing him back 100 percent."

Before Josey out in the field came in the third quarter of brown to the student of Angleton, to check Texas was moved. Josey missed the last nine minutes of the first half after an apparent helmet-helmet hit.

"I told him he had a great year and he is a great player and I hope he has also quickly," said Brown.

A place for the second time interfere with Missouri this season after beating Texas A & M on Oct. 29. The Tiger stop looking for a seventh straight bowl bid against Texas Tech, 66-6 by Oklahoma State on Saturday, whipped cream, and Kansas.

"We're still fighting for our lives Bowl" defensive end Jacquies Smith said. "There are more means not only because it's Texas."

James Franklin his first 10 passes and ran for a 2-yard result for the Tigers (5-5, 3-4), to beat Texas for the first time since 1997. Lawrence had 106 yards on 18 carries with a 35-yard score in the second quarter.

"Once you is consistent, you get the feeling for the game easier," said Lawrence. "You have just to go, when the chance comes and make it possible."

Texas (6-3, 3-3) with injury problems at running back and was held to 76 meters fell in only its third road game of the year. Missouri allows just a chip shot field goal for the first result of the game and a security from one punt blocked in the third quarter.

"The thing most was frustrating was that we ourselves no longer", said freshman quarterback David Ash, which was removed in the third quarter. "Sanctions, bad reads, little things we can control."

"they have good, but is a lot of the stuff, what we can control."

The last two weeks at home, Texas crashed whipped Kansas and Texas Tech by a combined 95-20 and 400 meters topped in both games. Leading rusher was Malcolm Brown (toe) and Joe Bergeron (thigh) no leads and the deep chart got leaner, Fozzy Whitaker left a cut in the first quarter with an apparent right knee injury at the same time.

Lawrence, won the tailback job fall drills but was early for three games in the season by a broken fibula shelved, more leads with 79 yards on eight and a TD before the break.

Controlled play Missouri in the half after fumbling a scoring chance on his first drive away when Emmnauel Acho l ' Damian Washington removed after a reception and Texas recovered on their own 12.

Franklin scored his 11th rushing touchdown on a 2-yard keeper, Missouri forward set and Lawrence 35-yard go head with 04: 43 in the half run.

Thanks to the defence, Missouri was able to sit most of the second half on his lead.

"If someone goes down, the next man is ready to step up," Texas wide receiver Marquise Goodwin said. "That's where leadership comes, which is where you up and man to grow."

"No matter what, regardless of who there is."

Eric waters blocked punt set up Missouri to 1 for the first result in the third quarter in four play, although the Tigers settle for a 19-yard field goal by Trey BARROW, the it 17-3.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- If they didn't know better, fans in Happy Valley would have thought they were watching Joe Paterno's team.

No. 12 Penn State played tough defense and basic offense. The Nittany Lions fought back when they were down, trying to rally from a 17-point deficit against No. 19 Nebraska on Saturday.

But on a day when the outcome was secondary, Penn State began the journey forward from a devastating scandal and the firing of Paterno with a draining loss, 17-14 to the Cornhuskers.

The game closed a tumultuous week that began with the arrest of former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky on shocking child sexual-abuse charges. Major college football's winningest coach was pushed out in the aftermath.

"I was awful proud," said interim coach Tom Bradley, who took over for the 84-year-old Paterno. "They got down 17-0. They didn't quit. They hung tough."

No one would have blamed the Nittany Lions (8-2, 5-1 Big Ten) if they decided to pack it in. But they didn't.

Time expired after a fourth-down pass by Matt McGloin fell harmlessly to the ground. McGloin and his teammates soon turned toward the tunnel to file back to the locker room. Most were silent. Some had blank stares.

Afterward, linebacker Nate Stupar was heartened the team ended up following Paterno's advice.

"[Bradley] kept saying, 'Beat Nebraska. Do what JoePa said,'" said Stupar, who had a team-high 13 tackles. "Be a team and you'll be teammates for life and just keep that goal in mind. No matter what, stick together. That's what we did today."

Rex Burkhead ran for 121 yards and a touchdown for Nebraska (8-2, 4-2) before the Nittany Lions scored 14 points on two second-half touchdown runs by Stephfon Green. But a key drive ended when Silas Redd was stopped on the fourth down with 1:49 left at the Penn State 38.

School president Rod Erickson met the Nittany Lions in the locker room afterward and praised, "how much courage, how much heart, and how much character" the players had, he said.

Most Penn State fans heeded calls for a "blue-out," wearing the school's familiar dark blue in support of victims of child sexual abuse. Fans formed the outline of a blue ribbon in the student section.

"We are ... Penn State," roared the crowd through the afternoon, the signature State College cheer.

But this school's identity has forever changed.

"I think today it just made the healing process start to begin," Bradley said.

Sandusky, architect of the "Linebacker U" defenses, was charged last weekend with sexually abusing eight boys over 15 years. The athletic director and a university vice president were charged with perjury and failure to report a 2002 allegation to police, and Paterno was fired following mounting fury he did not do more about the charge -- that Sandusky assaulted a boy in the Penn State football showers -- than pass it along to his bosses. President Graham Spanier also was ousted for similar reasons.

The last time Penn State played a game at Beaver Stadium, on Oct. 29, Paterno was feted by Spanier for his 409th career victory, the most in Division I history.

On Saturday, he was nowhere to be found -- save for a few fleeting images on the video boards overhead. That was enough to get spontaneous cheers of "Joe Paterno!" ringing through the stands.

"In my opinion and a lot of others' opinion he's still going to be the best football coach who ever coached in college," receiver Derek Moye said. "It was an honor for me to play for him."

Paterno started as an assistant in 1950, then took over as head coach in 1966. It was Penn State's first game without Paterno on staff since Nov. 19, 1949, a 19-0 loss at Pittsburgh.

But in many respects, it was like any other fall Saturday in Happy Valley. Massive 6-foot-5 defensive tackle Devon Still hit ball carriers with typical ferocity and the Nittany Lions played another close, low-scoring game -- as they have all year.

Penn State's first play from scrimmage was a fullback run up the middle -- a Paterno favorite.

But the Nittany Lions' conservative offense struggled again. In the late-game sequence that ended with Redd getting smothered on fourth down, Penn State called four straight running plays.

Meanwhile, someone named "Paterno" wore a path on the sideline wearing jet black Nike sneakers.

Just not that Paterno.

Paterno's son, quarterback coach Jay Paterno, moved down from his usual spot in the press box to relay plays from the sideline -- a job once held by assistant coach Mike McQueary.

Where was Joe? It's uncertain, though he pulled into the garage at his home a couple of hours after the final gun.

"He wanted to make sure that the guys he coached and the guys he felt very close to would understand that he was part of us," Jay Paterno said. "He still wanted to be part of this and he was pulling for them and cheering for them."

McQueary was among the missing after being placed on indefinite paid leave Friday by the school. His name surfaced as a grand jury witness to the 2002 abuse charge. Sandusky, who retired in 1999 but lives in the area and had access to school facilities, maintains his innocence.

McQueary, Joe Paterno says, told him that Sandusky had behaved inappropriately, but not to the extent of the detailed testimony. Paterno then passed the information on to Curley, but the report was not given to police.

News of the scandal elicited threats to McQueary, the school said, and brought heightened security.

But there were no visible problems during the game.

"I'll be honest with you, going into this football game, I didn't think the game should have been played -- for a lot of different reasons," Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said. "I look at my job as a football coach is to educate, and to prepare the kids that come into the program for life."

By the second half, most Penn State fans seemed most concerned about whether the Nittany Lions could get back into the game.

The Corhuskers had surged early, with Burkhead gashing Penn State's staunch D on 25 carries. He motored 14 yards into the end zone with 8:51 left in the third quarter for a 17-0 lead.

Then came the second-half push from Green on Senior Day - his last game at Beaver Stadium.

The senior scored from 5 yards out with 5:07 in the third quarter, then added a 6-yard run at 5:42 of the fourth to get Penn State within three. Green finished with 71 yards on 17 carries.

But the offense faltered on two late drives, including the fourth-and-1 stop of Redd. Out of timeouts with 49 seconds left, the Nittany Lions got the ball back but could get no farther than their own 46 before McGloin's final incompletion as time expired.

The fans cheered anyway, and greeted the Nittany Lions with one more chorus of "We are ... Penn State."

Sony presenta programa de UMD a Digital, pero te costará

Sony's talking about giving PSP owners a way to convert your physical UMD in digital games, but failed after PSP go in the light of the world in flames, Sony shelved the concept. With Vita just around the corner, revived the idea, and it is now happening.

The company is calling this service, at least in Japan, "Passport" UMD. You can download a program from the PlayStation Store, inclusion a UMD appeared in the list of Sony, to register the game with PlayStation Network, they pay a certain amount (changes per game) to access a digital copy and download away.

As mentioned, not is a flat rate to purchase a digital version, and seems to be up to individual editors to determine. Sony press release says that prices will be "reasonable", and with one exception, the price is situated mainly between 500 yen (about $6.50) at 1,500 yen (about $20).

A comparable programme has not been announced anywhere outside of Japan and it is unclear how Sony prevent players surrender a single UMD around, but those details will come later.

Editors are not obliged to participate in the program, either, although the announcement of Sony says big companies like Capcom, Sega, Square Enix, and others are making its games available.

Murray (Georgia) get revenge on Auburn road to SEC title game

Murray (Georgia) get revenge on Auburn road to SEC title game

ATHENS, GA. - Aaron Murray is a carefree guy by nature. He rarely loses his composure. Almost never gets angry.

But he has a long memory.

Murray stores hits a few borderline cases apparently by Nick Fairley, if Georgia Auburn played a year ago. Murray teammates raised objections to the Fairley-school activities with their quarterback and before the afternoon over there were almost a bank clearing brawl and two Auburn players were ejected.

Auburn stormed back from a 21-7 deficit to win the game 49-31 on the way to a BCS National Championship. The game ended much bad blood between the oldest rivals in the South, which began in 1892.

"The game got intense and it got Chippy," said Murray. "they beat us well in the second half." "In the team forget no one."

So national titleholders was it with much pleasure and a large dose of redemption, the Murray and Georgia the Woodshed Saturday afternoon in Sanford Stadium took. Murray threw four touchdown passes in the first half of a record Georgia when the Bulldogs a 35-7 halftime lead and then to a 45-7 win first-leg victory.

"We played just great," said Georgia coach Mark rich. "I'm trying to think of another game, in which we played them in a situation that was so important for us well."

It was the eighth straight win for Georgia (8-2, 6-1 SEC) after an 0-2 start. Now the Bulldogs must only Kentucky (4-6, 1-5) next Saturday in Athens to win the SEC East, and on, propose to the Conference Championship game for the first time since 2005. When Georgia loses to Kentucky South Carolina will advance to Atlanta.

Murray, the redshirt student of Tampa, had touchdown passes 8, 27, 15 and 25 meters in the first half. This gives him 27 of this season, Matthew Stafford breaking record of 25 set in 2008.

A week ago Murray had five touchdown passes only a quarter against State of New Mexico. Against Auburn he was nearly flawless in the first half when he down went 7 for 7 on third-party conversions and passes completed 13 of 16 for 216 yards and four touchdowns.

"He's advertised Auburn as well as coach gene Chizik", said.

"This was as well as Aaron threw the ball, since he been here," said rich. "He threw the ball deep well and gave great opportunities to catch the ball our receiver." "This is the best we have run our offense in a while."

Auburn (6-4, 4-3 SEC) continue to have problems on the road. Tigers previous three losses coming at no. 1 LSU (45-10), no. 8 Arkansas (38-14), and no. 9 Clemson (38-24). If not for a 16-13 victory at the South Carolina would be the Tigers 0-5 of the Jordan-Hare Stadium removed.

"We keep things that you cannot use, if you intend to win on the road," Chizik Siad.

All season long Auburn errors committed at the worst time on the road, and Saturday was no different. The Tigers were very much in the game, subsequent TD with the ball to the own 45-yard line after a buttons by Georgia's Isaiah Crowell. But Michael Dyer sought it right back on the Auburn initial rendering of the line of scrimmage.

Six plays later Murray threw his third touchdown pass.

Auburn of next possession see not Clint Moseley Georgia security Bacarri Rambo, simply, whose selection six covered 24 metres and has Georgia powodka 28-7. Then, Murray threw a 25 yard touchdown pass to freshman Malcolm Mitchell. Georgia was achieved in less than six minutes that take commanding lead at halftime 21 points.

Murray has lost a little opening the second half in possession and received a hard blow at the knees, caused him to a full flip. From then on Murray hand was the ball to Carlton, Thomas and Crowell, to milk the clock. More than 100 yards and Georgia had both back with 304 metres above the ground and 528 total yards.

"It was a big win for us," said Murray. "It seems like it today for all sorts of just clicked." "All three aspects of the game played great."

Defence limited, Auburn, 195 meters overall pass Georgia's no. 7-space. Auburn was won the No. 2 rushing team in the SEC, but only 51 yards on the ground.

"Attack, defense, special teams." Everyone today played great and it turned out, "linebacker Alec Ogletree said." "We wanted to come and play a full game together and that's what we have done."

Georgia is convincing victory over Auburn has a few things:

• Is there finally an end to the speculation about the status of dir which, who has now won 104 of its 140 games as head coach of Georgia. Georgia No. 5 Boise State (35-21) and no. 15 lost South Carolina (45-42) to open the season, there were calls for rich head. These calls will stop now.

• Georgia's game at the end of the season the SEC reason to hope that the Conference Championship game on Dec. 3 will be pretty competitive. If Georgia next week Kentucky, are the chances that the Bulldogs No. 1 will play LSU in Atlanta. Has LSU (9-0, 6-0) still SEC games at OLE Miss coming Saturday and at home against Arkansas on 25 November.

Now should be pointed out there, that Georgia has benefited significantly from the quirks of the SEC schedule. Georgia is the only school in the SEC East for the not No. 1 LSU, no. 3 Alabama or no. 8 to play Arkansas from the West. Auburn is in fact, the first team to record Georgia in 2011 with a victory played in Conference play. Georgia's other five SEC successes come this season against teams (Florida, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Mississippi State and OLE Miss), a combined 5 24 in Conference play to begin the companies were on Saturday. Kentucky, next week final SEC opponent, is on Saturday 1-5 in the League after getting stomped by Vanderbilt (38-8).

But none seemed that role Saturday night. Georgia's eight game is the longest Strip under dir and started his longest since 1982, as Georgia 11-0 and Penn State played for the Championship.

"This was a team that knew we would be better if each patient was and kept just working hard," said rich. "The guys are more confident to win and they are difficult to play and they play smart." "Now we only do it once again turned our ticket get to Atlanta."

Renegade Ops - GR Review

Renegade Ops - GR Review

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

On start, if you just let Renegade Ops sit for a moment before pressing a button, a motion comic plays that spells out the plot of the game; a villain calling himself Inferno, who is definitely not Cobra Commander, has blown up a city and threatens to blow up more. Angered that the U.N. or N.A.T.O. (or whatever) capitulates, General Tough-As-Nails quits his commission to round up his own band of vigilante heroes to beat the crap out of the clandestine military organization that is definitely not Cobra.

It’s pretty much the perfect plot for Renegade Ops, a vehicular twin-stick shooter that feels a lot like playing with Hot Wheels cars armed with machine guns (Pew-pew-pew!). The top-down view also reminds me of Super Off Road with no track and lots of explosions (Ka-blowie!).

The first level has a fair tutorial section, introducing its mission primary and secondary objectives, marked with red and grey arrows. The arrows lead you from encounter to encounter, though they sometimes have pathfinding problems if you go under a bridge. Tarry too long with the secondary objectives, and a timer appears on the bottom of the screen. If the timer runs out, the game ends.

Your regular weapon is an upgradable machine gun, with a secondary weapon that varies from missiles, which take a chunk of enemy health, to a flamethrower that slowly takes away life after being hit, to a railgun that can be charged for extra damage. You can choose from four cars, each with its own special ability that recharges slowly over time. The real highlight is when you get to use a helicopter, firing down from above at your enemies on the ground; the first boss fight, where you fire down on an enemy submarine, reminded me of classic arcade cabinets like 1942. However, this happens rarely, with most of the action taking place on the ground.

Jumping in and playing Renegade Ops on normal difficulty, I was struck by how hard it was. I was quickly blown up, repeatedly, and Normal affords you only five lives. No continues, though you can restart any level you’ve reached. It gave me pause and made me think that maybe the default difficulty level of Casual was accurate. With infinite lives and reduced enemy health and damage, it was certainly easier. But me, play through a game on casual mode? Pfaugh! I would have to eat my gamer pride. I pressed on.

What I discovered on my second attempt at normal difficulty was Renegade Ops’ light RPG element. The more destruction you cause, especially linked together after destroying a large vehicle, the more experience points you gain. You can expend the points between levels on vehicular upgrades to your health, weaponry, and special weapon. The experience continues to add up even if you don’t finish the level; Renegade Ops expects you to grind until your vehicle matches the difficulty of the level.

This is fun, once you soup up your car enough to keep from being completely owned by the first level, but quickly reaches a point where your car is too powerful for the game to be challenging. Circle strafing around a tank to have it blow up seconds later is awesome in theory but, after the fifth one in a row, starts to lose its shine. A difficulty graph would look something like an exponential curve starting out at stupid-difficult and moving downward and plateauing into baby-soft ease. Hard difficulty level remains fairly challenging but still has the problem of being repetitive.

Multiplayer, either online or splitscreen, is where the gameplay really shines. In Co-op only, the repetitive nature of many of the tasks are cut down when you have multiple players blasting through a level. However, there were no games available online at present (on the PS3 version) unless I hosted one, and it was only possible for me to host a level I had already reached in the single-player version. Once the game started, it started to look like the whole game had been designed with multiplayer in mind.

Secondary objectives which had been impossible suddenly were much more reachable, and enemies that had taken a long time to defeat were much more manageable, with the general pace picking up much quicker. It was possible to have up to four players join, but I wasn’t ever able to find more than one at a time.

The local splitscreen mode at first felt a little cramped, which made me glad it was limited to just two players. Halfway through the first level, I switched it from a static to dynamic display. The dynamic display started with both cars on the same screen, then when they diverged, the screen split at that point in whatever direction they were moving, and the split moved based on where the cars were in relation to each other. Both I and my “I suck at driving games!” girlfriend thought the dynamic mode was awesome. It should be noted that my girlfriend had a lot of fun blowing things up as well (Pew-pew-ka-plow!).

Renegade Ops looks great and clearly had some money thrown at it. The motion comics are professionally rendered, if a little stiff, and the voice acting is professionally hammy, suggesting the A-Team and G.I. Joe. I couldn’t stop imagining every line by the villain Inferno being delivered by Cobra Commander. The throwaway plot has less depth than a children’s wading pool, but for a game that reminds me of playing with Micro Machines, it fulfills all the desires of my inner ten-year-old boy to kick ass.

The game itself has a lot of polish for a budget title, especially compared to other twin-stick shooters. There are a few problems with texture drop-in, with trees and or other elements popping in moments after everything else at the start of a level or during an in-game cut-scene. The 3D rendered world and vehicles looks great, and the explosions and special weapon effects make it clear that blowing stuff up is the priority. The most satisfying part of the game for me was watching the animations after I drove through a shack, tent, or flimsily built house, and watching it crumble afterward in my wake.

The nine levels on normal difficulty mode took about six hours, though that could be shorter if a player didn’t try to fulfill the secondary objectives. While there was no available extra content on the PS3 version, the game released on Steam on October 26th with Gordon Freeman’s buggy from Half-Life 2 as exclusive DLC. The game has little replay value, aside from trying to beat it on higher difficulty modes.

Renegade Ops is a fun, if repetitive, vehicular twin-stick shooter that looks great, has a satisfyingly dumb story, and lots of cool explosions. It’s a little weak solo, but you could do far worse than spend six hours with a buddy, gleefully blowing things up together.

On of the deadliest weapons in Saints Row: The Third is the Penetrator - a four foot-long purple dildo on a wooden stick used to dickslap adversaries. With the game releasing next week, THQ sent a number of real-life Penetrator replicas to journalists across Europe (damn, I wanted one). The only problem is... is that they lost 25 of them.

THQ claims to have a handle on the situation, and will go to any depth - and they mean deep - to ensure these dildos don't fall into the wrong hands, or even worse, fall into the wrong holes.

Look out for Nick's review of the game, any day now.

Cool story bro: I'm writing this on a plane right now, and the two passengers to my left, as well as the stewardess flight attendants have given me a look like I'm a disgusting pervert. They're right, but this is just work.

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded - GR Review

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded - GR Review

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Once upon a time, there was a game for the Nintendo 64 that put all other movie-licensed games to shame. Rare and Nintendo teamed up and produced a console first-person shooter that made for endless deathmatches and slappers-only entertainment. Matches were competitive to the point that they quickly became silly opportunities to mow down your neighbors, your best friends, and even your brothers and sisters.

Those times are long gone. Goldeneye 007 will never be as good as it was way back when. Seriously, stop trying to bring it back. Electronic Arts tried once. You've probably dug up your Nintendo 64 and had a few matches before getting right back to Halo. This time, Activision has used the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis to raise Goldeneye's worm-filled corpse.... TWICE OVER.

Last year's Wii-exclusive Goldeneye 007 must have performed well-enough, but it would be a safe bet that the company always planned to port it over to the Xbox 360 and PS3, where online multiplayer and HD graphics could reign in another crowd of suckers.

James Bond is yet again caught up in a mystery and conspiracy involving Russians, space-faring nukes, stolen helicopters, and his old partner 006. HE'S THE BAD GUY EVERYONE. You've already seen this movie, played this game, played it again, and now here you are, as Bond, but not-Bond, fighting the same enemies and progressing through the same levels.

Daniel Craig steps into the shoes this time... again... F***. This is getting confusing. Let's quit beating around the bush and say what everyone is already thinking. This game is not what you want it to be. It's not worth your money if you played the original. It retains the smallest iota of Goldeneye 007 from the Nintendo 64 and replaces every other aspect of the game with corridor shooting and roller-coaster riding a la Call of Duty. It's even in Call of Duty's engine. This is lazy, lazy, lazy.

Goldeneye 007: Reloaded does score points, though, for its numerous difficulties and modes. The hardest difficulty removes the regenerating health and tasks you with rationing your body armor and health pickups accordingly. That's about as non-Call of Duty as it gets, so gamers with nostalgia for the 64 outing should know that some of the difficulty they remember returns here. MI6 missions complement the single-player game, and online multiplayer is about as playable as ever. It's true that many positive steps have been taken, but gamers who ignore some of the finer aspects of Goldeneye will surely find their money wasted.

Stealth was always a key component in James Bond gaming, but here it's simply optional. Ignoring the opportunities the game gives you to silently take out armed thugs or all of the spare objectives in harder difficulties will ultimately filter out all the greatness that even suggests this game could live up to your memories as 007.

Instead of forcing the player to play the game the way it was back in the day, Goldeneye 007: Reloaded does too much to modernize the classic first-person shooter. That ultimately means that players have to dig deep if they want to find the golden nuggets of nostalgia. Modern gamers with no memory of Rare's classic shooter will be disappointed after all these years of Battlefield and Call of Duty.

Remaking games is hard, and what little Activision has done to maintain the Goldeneye spirit is commendable. At least they didn't create a game that gave you an actual Goldeneye. Still, there are much better shooters on the market. It's time to hang up the cummerbund and bow tie and enjoy your martini with another game.

C+ Revolution report card - Not the Goldeneye you remember- Easier difficulties leave out many objectives+ Harder ones bring them back- Stealth play is totally optional+ Non-regenerating health in hardest difficulty+ MI6 Bonus Missions- Totally skippable multiplayer- Daniel Craig sucks, Pierce Brosnan IS James Bond (in Goldeneye)- Muddy textures

GAMEREVIEWSPREVIEWSSCREENSVIDEOSCHEATSFAQSDOWNLOADS
DLC
should do several things in order to be successful. It should expand upon the original game. It should create a new experience, despite maintaining the feel of the original gameplay. It should fix some of the issues gamers had with the core campaign. Finally, it should be just as entertaining in a brand new playthrough as it is as a standalone experience.

The Missing Link suffers from the same problems the majority of Mass Effect 2 DLC had. Players who've completed their initial playthrough and aren't ready to start a brand new one won't get the full effect and as a standalone product this DLC falters in its emulation of the main campaign.

The Missing Link occurs just after Jensen partners with Tong Si Hung to sneak aboard a Belltower cargo ship in order to gain passage to the Omega Ranch where Megan and her research team are located. Instead of staying hidden aboard the ship for three days, The Missing Link puts Jensen on a quick detour through a Belltower Security encampment.

The DLC does allow you to respec Jensen midway through a playthrough, but if you launch the new pack from the main menu, this won't mean a thing since you start with no augmentations whatsoever. Clearly the worst way to enjoy your $15 DLC is playing it right away. Be patient: Play through the game again with the DLC installed. The experience will be better for it.

If you're impatient and just play the DLC by itself, The Missing Link will suffer for it. It does manage to fix the main game's abhorred boss fights by giving you a number of options to defeat the Belltower boss, including stealth and incapacitating him rather than killing him outright. The pack also introduces another thread to the Illuminati conspiracy plot and provides players with more combat, stealth, social, and hacking opportunities.

Still, Adam Jensen's detour doesn't feel necessary in lieu of the entire Human Revolution campaign. There was more than enough to convince players of the Illuminati threat in DXHR proper. The same can be said of the combat, stealth, and hacking, all of which was done better in the main game.

If you've just got to have more Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Missing Link is more than worth its $15 asking price. If you really enjoyed this year's stealth-action RPG hybrid, you might want to wait for the desire to playthrough the game again or for the DLC to go on sale. Otherwise, The Missing Link could have stayed missing.

While Gotham City Impostors certainly seemed like a game Warner Bros was using to captalize on the Batman fever surround Batman: Arkham City, every time someone previews it they walk away increasingly impressed. I'm kind of bummed that I haven't had a chance to play the game yet either.

It appears we won't have long to wait as a beta will be launching next month and the game should be officially released in January of 2012.

Don't forget to apply for the beta. If you don't apply you won't be selected. Check out the trailer above for a taste of the action within, but make sure you head to the Gotham City Impostors website to put your name on the list.

Resident Evil: Revelations - Preview

Resident Evil: Revelations - Preview

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Resident Evil: Revelations is Capcom's attempt to retain the action of Resident Evil 5 while keeping the thrills and sci-fi story of past Resident Evils. That this is on Nintendo 3DS makes the attempt only the more daring. As a return to its survival horror origins, ammunition is more limited, exploration and puzzle-solving are key, and monsters unexpectedly jump out from corridors, ceilings, and whatever holes they like to crawl out of.

Revelations explores one of the first missions that Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield accepts after co-founding the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), though they are not partnered together. Chris and former SOA-agent Jessica Sherawat have gone missing and their last coordinates point Jill Valentine and fellow BSAA operative Parker Luciani to a tempestuous spot in the middle of the Mediterrean Sea that wouldn't be out of place in Deadliest Catch. This leads both duos to shuffle about a steel-bound, semi-flooded cruise ship with hazardous mutants, probably infected with the T-virus—which is all well and good if you're fond of tiptoeing down rusty hallways with heavy, echoing footsteps.

Apart from the newly revealed Keith Lumley and Quint Cetcham, two tech-oriented agents (and otakus) who were shown in a presentation investigating a snowy mountainous area, not much was revealed in terms of the story. The brief thirty-second off-hands demo with these new characters showed off the previously revealed BioScanner “Genesis”, which lets you see invisible enemies by tracking their body heat signatures. Switching between a weapon and the BioScanner is quick and not as cumbersome as switching held items in usual Resident Evil titles, so it's recommended to flip out the BioScanner by using the touch-screen before firing away with the main weapon.

Though Capcom rightfully decided not to show much of the plot, curiously written by Dai Sato of popular Japanese animations Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop, the demo on offer allowed access to the single-player or cooperative multiplayer Raid mode, available ad-hoc or online, that is largely reminiscent of the earlier Resident Evil: Mercenaries on 3DS. The point is to clear short stages that reward you with higher-level weapons and custom parts that increase their damage, ammo capacity, and firing rate. Capcom admits that Raid mode is essentially based on loot lust, but it's an addictive mode that should give the game a lot of replay value.

In an interesting departure from the main series, damage to enemies is indicated by numbers that pop out of enemies like a traditional RPG. Yellow numbers mean standard hits whereas red numbers stand for critical hits usually inflicted by well-placed headshots. Also, some monsters will have special icons next to their health over their heads, such as a fist to signify tremendous physical strength or a shield to denote physical resilience.

Turning around with the camera is a tad finicky at the moment, though the game will support the upcoming circle pad accessory announced by Nintendo. It also features multiple control setups, different colors for laser sights for the color-blind, subtitles and dialogue for five languages, and an enhancer for 3D depth to complement the 3D slider. Most importantly—and I quote from Capcom—you can clear your save data.

Resident Evil: Revelations slips its way onto the Nintendo 3DS on February 7, 2012 in North America.

3DS Could Eclipse First-Year DS Sales

3DS Could Eclipse First-Year DS Sales

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota
Ok, so I'll admit it, the 3DS didn't rocket off to amazing sales like I had first predicted. The software just wasn't there, a fact that hopefully Nintendo has taken to heart for future hardware releases (I wouldn't hold my breath, though). But despite all that, those of us here at GR who play and own the 3DS have known that it wasn't a matter of if the system would take off, but when.

I'd have to say that time is upon us, my friends. You might be surprised to learn that despite its initial struggles, the 3DS is actually in a great position to sell more units in its first year than its wildly popular predecessor. The NPD Group's October numbers are in, and the 3DS is up to 1.65 million units sold in the US over its first 8 months.

The DS sold 2.37 million units in its first year, but half of those came during the holidays. Oh hey, that's about this time of year, too! For the 3DS to surpass the original DS, it would need an average of roughly 180,000 units sold per month until March. With Super Mario 3D Land coming out to drive the holiday sales, that target looks very plausible.
